Hearing the other young man tell him to wait up, he slowed his pace and looked up from the phone. “Hm?” The brunette soon caught up and apologized. “Ah you don’t have to make it up to me. It’s no big deal.” It was literally only a quarter it’s not like it was a ton of money. Seeing the phone the other was holding, and hearing about exchanging information, Sun thought for a moment. “Yeah okay, hang on I think I got a card or something.” He dug through his pockets and pulled out a small, shiny card case. Taking out one of the clearly homemade business cards he handed it to the other boy. The card was printed on some really nice card stock and featured a design of the sun on one side, on the back it contained his social media usernames, but no phone number. “oh wait, hang on.” He took back the card and scrawled his mobile number on it real quick. “Just send me a text with your name. Ok?”
While Touya still had the card in his hand, he took the moment to flip it over to try and find a number.
Wait, that username was familiar– he stared at Sun for a long second. He didn’t even realized the card was snagged out of his hand, as he was too much in thought to try and put two and two together.
“Wait! I follow you! Your blog has all sorts of cute– I mean cool stuff!” well shoot, he didn’t mean to say cute, the term just slipped out. The blog was rather aesthetically cute, though, or at least in Touya’s eyes. His finger was pointed at Sun, a surprised expression on his face. Remembering that he should probably add his number, he went ahead and pulled out his phone.
“Picture. I want a picture. You’re good at that, right?” he switched his phone to the camera selfie setting, and handed it to Sun while he made sure to put the business cards safely in his pocket.
“I mean, one of us together. Is that okay?” it’s not like he was forcing him to do it or anything, but he was pretty darn eager to get it.
The brunette looked...surprised to say the least. That meant only one thing, and his remark just seemed to cement it. Although... that mention of cute wasn’t what Sun had been going for with his social media accounts - but now that he thought about it, he did post a lot of photos of his cute vulpix. So maybe it was only right that the boy’s online presence was described as such. “So, you’re a fan?” Sun finally replied, a smile gracing his face. And then the other boy took out a phone. “huh? Sure. We can take a selfie together. I’m always happy to do that with fans.” Which wasn’t a lie, but he didn’t actually meet a lot of his fanbase - he was actually pretty certain that most of his followers were bots so meeting one IRL was nice. Grabbing the phone, he put it to camera mode and got close to Touya. “So, selfie filters or no?” A fair question. “We can also add some afterwards depending on the photo editing apps you have on your phone.” But now that he mentioned that, he realised the other boy probably didn’t have a ton of options in that department.

If the dude didn’t want the drink then why did he throw a mini tantrum? Weird but whatever.
Sun shrugged and took a sip from the can. This guy was really weird. First he yells at him, but now he’s offering up his vending machine change? “Nah, don’t worry about it. Here.” He set the can down and dug through his wallet for a quarter. He put the coin in the machine, and then put the wallet away before grabbing his beverage again. “Now you can get something.” He smiled a bright and friendly smile to hide how weird and awkward this situation really was and then took out his phone. (which probably came across as rude but like the phone is his life.) On the screen were a bunch of notifications for messages and reminders. Maybe taking the phone out was a bad idea because now he was reminded of all the stuff he was putting off. “Next time you’re short on change, maybe just ask someone instead of yelling at them about buying a drink? You’ll make more friends with kindness or something instead of loud eruptions.” With that he began to walk down the hall again, looking at his phone and dismissing the notifications.
How thoughtful. This guy seemed better at dealing with the situation than he was. Touya’s face turned into relief when the quarter went into the machine properly, and he tapped the drink that he wanted. There was nothing better than a cold can of carbonated caffeine.
He propped it open and started to take a sip, but he stopped when the other spoke up. What was he talking about? Was he really being that loud as he said he was?
“Wait up.” Touya hollered, quickly taking a few more gulps of his drink before running and catching up to the phone boy.
“It slipped out unexpectedly, my bad. Sorry if you’re that upset over it. I’ll make it up to you sometime.” He pulled out his phone and waved it to make sure the other was actually paying attention to him.
“Want to exchange numbers? Or uh, a blog, whatever’s most comfortable to you. I’m not always loud. I swear.” He really wasn’t, honestly, but today had been an off day and Sun happened to be there at the nick of time.

After a long day, there’s nothing quite like a cold drink to revitalize the spirit. That’s why vending machines were honestly a god send. The blonde put a few coins into the machine and made a selection - last one! SCORE! Happy about his luck, Sun began to walk away from the vending machine, opening the can of iced tea. As he left the scene he passed by a rather unhappy looking brunette who seemed to be muttering something disappointed. It was probably not important. As he got a bit farther down the hall he could hear the other boy raising his voice at him. Curious, Sun stopped walking and turned around. “Huh? Ya mean this?” He pointed to the can in his hand. “How exactly is it my fault that you didn’t have enough change for a different drink?” Was this guy seriously blaming him for something like that? Geez. It wasn’t his fault that this random guy was having shitty luck. Don’t blame the innocent for your own short comings. Hearing the apology, Sun sighed and approached the other boy. “Look, if you want it that badly, then here.” He handed the open can to the brunette and then with his free hand reached into his pants pocket to grab his wallet. He could always buy another drink - it wasn’t like some major ordeal.
Touya stopped his gesture, and stared at the other in confusion. He did not expect the drink to be handed back to him. He looked the open can over, but he shook his head and waved his hands. He declined the offer.
“I-I’ll live. Thanks anyway.” How embarrassing, do I look that desperate? He thought while he glanced away. Perhaps he should make it up to the boy somehow. An apology didn’t feel like enough, for some reason.
“I already put my change in the machine, but you can use it. I’m a quarter short.” That should be acceptable. He smiled, an attempt to hide his desperation that was previously on his face.

It’s almost Halloween, so I gotta wonder what is everyone going to dress up as? My costume is a secret, but you’ll get to see it real soon. ;) ;)
Yo!! Sun here, bringing a little light to this new tumblr blog of mine. Thought I’d share one of my selfies from last week. How’s yer day goin’ today everybody?

Touya watched as one of his favorite drinks were now in another person’s hands, forever lost. He wanted that drink badly, but by the time he got to the vending machine, someone had already snagged it from him! He could not believe how terrible his luck is right now, for that drink was the last one in the vending machine. Something else would have to suffice.
He walked past the person that held the drink in hand, eyes sharp as daggers as he did so (though he did try to act casual).
“I wanted that one…” he mumbled aloud in disappoint, and started to dig for his change in his wallet. When he got the right amount, he started to put in money one by one. It started to go smoothly, but he found out that he was one quarter short.
“Ahh—no way…! Hey!” he more than likely looked childish to the public right now as he hit the machine, but he didn’t care. He looked over at the boy who was still nearby for some reason, and pointed at him.
“It’s ‘cause you took the cheapest drink in there…!” he declared loud and clear, although that wasn’t his intention. When he realized he did it, it was already too late. He rubbed the back of his head in an apologetic matter, and took this moment to calm down.
“Sorry. That’s not what I meant.” Smooth move, Touya. Some soon-to-be college student you were.
