I just recently found out that the reason why it was always so hard to find me headcanons tag was because I spelled "headcanons" wrong.

I think Djahima stubbornly refused to use certain modern amenities and appliances for a while when they were all getting very popular. Like microwaves and gas ovens, especially since they either a) could only be afforded by the predominately white upper class and b) couldn't be owned by minorities even if they could afford them due to redlining. But it's also due to that old timer mindset of "back in my day, we used to walk 10 miles to the general store to get a bottle of milk and a pack of cigarettes that you fought the mayor's cousin for in a tropical storm"—or something to that effect. Stubborn pride and probably some superstition was part of it.

TLDR: Clearly, they do not own an air fryer.
