Hi everyone! A little self-promo for my SDVN fanfic, The Spire and the Sea. I’ve got like no reach on tumblr lmao but wanted to post it here anyways in case anyone is interested.
It’s an angsty, bittersweet character study that dives into the fractured minds of Truthless Recluse and the Fount, exploring themes of memory, identity, mercy, truth and deceit, and the subtle horrors of self-deception (amongst other themes). The story is slow-burn and emotionally driven, following two broken souls as they navigate a world where reality frays and even kindness can wound.
Expect poetic, introspective narration, surreal and shifting settings, and a tense, intimate exploration of how truth and lies shape who we become and how sometimes even if we meet the right person, we could be too late for them.
It starts off a bit slow but IT’S FINALLY PICKING UP WOOO! AND THERE WILL BE ROMANCE, I PINKY PROMISE!!!!!

However, this story is not of the time when the beast and the healer clashed, both tainted by the inevitability of lies.
Because before Pure Vanilla would find himself in that scene, he would come to understand the absolute truth.
