Cady sat at her desk, exhausted after being with the girls all day. Between walking from classes to doing seven laps around the mall, everything hurt. Homework was the next priority, underneath them, of course. She pulled out the papers, sighing. The thought of ‘just another day’ ran through her head. As she started writing on her worksheet, she couldn’t help but to think that she forgot something earlier.

“She’s just being a bitch, she’s doing it to me too, y/n. I don’t know what the fuck we’re supposed to do. Wait it out?” Janis spoke with an almost gently harsh tone while combing her fingers through your hair.

“It just hurts, you know? She promised me she’d remember, pinky promised. And yet she still forgot about me.”

“I know. Have you tried talking to her yet?”

“No, she’s been with them all day, I haven’t even gotten to hug her or anything.” you rubbed away a slipping tear. “I just want her to go back to how she used to be, back when she wasn’t one of them. She’s home now, so I’m going to go try to talk with her. Thank you, Janis. Seriously, you’re the best.” You hugged her as you left and sat in your car, breathing heavily. It was either going to go one of two ways. She was going to apologize and make up for it or she was going to start another argument because “you can’t expect her to have enough time for everything in the world anymore.”

Maybe it’d all work out.

Completely irrelevant Murphy family headcanons that I’ve thought about

- they definitely had a golden retriever at some point

- there have been points in her life where Zoe was in fact taller than Connor , however all of them happened way before he started high school

- Cynthia is that mom who like took pictures at every single little event 100%

-Cynthia probably had either a Pomeranian or Chihuahua in high school and when she got married

- Connor was notorious as a kid for biting

- Zoe’s baby pictures were all adorned by the same bright pink frilly bow

- I ain’t got nothing bout Larry but like he was probs a fuckboy in high school

- Cynthia and Larry signed both of the kids up for like soccer when they were young. Both of them ended up getting kicked off because they didn’t stop kicking each other instead of the ball.
