I should be cleaning, doing dishes,laundry, and making lists for packing stuff since we leave in like 5 days for our first family trip out of the state. Instead, we went to disney to pick up some of the new pastel halloween merch for my friend. And we can't go to magic kingdom and not see her besties. She literally loves them so much. We see them every single time. To the point that they recognized her immediately 🤣🤣 there's a hand full of cast members who instantly recognize her now. I dont know if I should be embarrassed or proud.

We managed to get my friend all of the stuff she wanted. We also got to go on a few rides and just have a fun and low key morning. Now we're back home and I have dishes going and laundry. I just started my packing lists. I have stuff I need to pack up for my nephew and my friend's son. His birthday was in May and I still have his gifts 🙃🙃🙃🤷‍♀️

I also need to make a list of the stuff for the cat. My mom is going to come pick her up after we leave and keep her at their house while we're gone.

Add to that the stuff I have to leave for 1 friend, a pile of stuff for a friend's tag sale fundraiser that I'm donating stuff to, and my brother's birthday gifts since his birthday is Friday. 🙃🙃 but yeah. 4 full days to do all of this plus pack our bags, load up the camper and clean the house seems totally feasible. With a toddler at home 24/7. Totally doable.

Anyone want a toddler? Mine woke up at 4:30 🙃🙃🙃

We have officially picked a new date to travel. Only like 2 months later than planned lol. We're 100% making up it up to va. And fingers crossed we can get all the way to Connecticut. We'll see how my anxiety does. I still need to get in touch with a therapist. The one my doctor's office recommended doesn't take my insurance 🙃 which is a first for me. But oh well.

Now time to plan and start gathering stuff up. The unfortunate timing is that my weekend bag/ duffle bag is currently falling apart. Whatever material that is on the handles and such is just disintegrating. I have had it for well over a decade. So it's probably time to go but I love it. It's about the dimensions of a large duffle bag but has wheels and a handle so I don't have to carry it. I don't want to use my small carry on suit case because I like that i empty this one, it mostly flattens and I can shove it in small spaces 🤣🤣 fingers crossed i can find something similar without paying pull price. That thing was like 80+ and after dropping $350 on the camera for the camper, I need to budget until payday. Next week 🤣

Almost exactly 24 hours to the T and the fever is gone and shes back to herself. I just wish she didn't wake up at 3:45 because she was thirsty and isn't showing signs of going back to sleep. 🙃 so I guess we're doing extra TV time this morning because I'm too tired to function.

We were supposed to go to disney today. But instead the kiddo woke up at 3:30. I went to check her and told her I would use the bathroom and then come cuddle, but she said she had to go too. Which is very weird for her but whatever. I go to help her out of her tangle of blankets and shes on fire. I let her try to use the bathroom first and as she's sitting there I can see that look on her face. So i stood her up and had her lean over the tub, where she puked up dinner.

I woke David up and had him get her some water, I wrapped her up in her bath robe,and they went out to the livingroom so I could use the bathroom. After she settled down I checked her temperature and she was at 102.3. She took some motrin, got her in fresh clothes, and we watched bluey for like an hour and a half. Then she and I took an hour "nap", got up, and spent all morning watching bluey because the motrin was wearing off. The fever started to spike again around 9 and she puked again. This time we got her to puke in a bowl. Too bad she missed the first time 🙃 . So, more motrin, a bath, and more bluey and shes feeling better. She has had some food. I set her up a little sick station on the floor so hopefully she doesn't puke on the couch again.

Fingers crossed it's just a 24 hr bug. We have plans for friends to come over Friday but I will obviously be canceling if she's not fever free by tomorrow morning/ afternoon.

We had the absolutely best time ever on our first adventure with the camper. We will be visiting Fort wilderness a lot more in the future. Especially since I convinced my husband to get an annual pass again 😁😁😁

At just over 3 and a half, kiddo is getting her very 1st haircut today. The end of her hair are feeling very brittle and dry no matter what I do. So I think it's time. I can't believe I snagged this. I checked almost every hour and this came up at 9:30pm. I'm so excited!

Nothing like being honest with your doctor about not sure if your anxiety is a normal level or not and after explaining it her going "so...would you like to try talking to a therapist or medication? " 🤣🤣🤣🤣

So I'm waiting for a referral to speak with a therapist. Idk if it's something I can talk through to work out or not. I'm not against medication, I just don't want to jump right into it. But I'm pretty sure even my husband would be excited and on board with medication at least when we have to travel because that's when it's absolutely the worst.

I think my husband forgot who he married lol. He's been saying that we need to take the camper out ASAP. Especially if we want to take it to Virginia next month. He's sent a bunch of places but hasn't picked one. So I did. I want our first trip to be as close to home as possible, just in case.

He made a comment last night about how we now have plans to go somewhere this weekend but the plastic is still on the mattress. And pretty much implied it won't be fully livable by then.

Challenge accepted i have like 8 packages coming from Amazon between today and tomorrow and the receipt for my Walmart order for tomorrow is almost double what our usual pick up order is lmao. I've been trying to slowly nickel and dime my way through my check list of stuff. But I guess now I'm speed running how fast can I get stuff 😅😅

Where else would I pick for the maiden voyage with the camper lol. I'm so happy there was availability. We're bringing the bikes and i just can't wait. Now to panic buy some camper necessities I've been avoiding lol

Reasons my husband doesn't complain about my spontaneous target runs. He's been debating on getting 1 to try out. How could we not for that price.

I truly never thought the expedition could look small. But dang. This thing isn't even "that big" for a camper. I'm a little bummed because we might have to chop down our crape mrytle in order to get it into the back yard. But I would much rather do that than try to find a place for it in the driveway or front yard.

I let the kiddo pick the new paint color for the guest room. We're rearranging the house for the millionth time. It wasn't until after out dried that I noticed it happens to be the exact shade of a certain princess that she's currently obsessed with. I feel duped lol. At least it's still cute. But now i feel like this needs to be a cinderella themed room lol

I'm so anxious about the idea of having to tow anything behind us, but I'm so excited for the adventures we're going to go on.

When i make an impulse buy, I spent 200 on a new floor cleaner. My husband? 20k on a new camper 🤣🤣🙃

I told him he'll regret it because now I'm looking to book a campsite at Fort wilderness asap to test it out 🤣🤣

I am so happy I got the bissell. Its definitely hard to get used to a corded machine again, but it's so much nicer. All the issues I had with the tineco are resolved with this one. It has a removable strainer to catch all the hair and junk you vacuum up, the pieces are easier to clean, and even though the tineco had a self clean function this one comes with a machine specific cleaning solution. I bought the one you can use to steam clean or just use it as a regular wet vacuum/mop. I'm ashamed at how gross the water was. We don't have dogs and we don't wear shoes inside. But that water was still 🤢

I ended up getting a bissell. Im super excited to try it. But my brain is currently hyper fixated on getting all the freaking rocks out of my driveway so I can park in it normally again. So I've been doing that instead lol

I only have a small like left. Maybe 2 wheelbarrows full. But I don't have any other place to put it right now. Not until David can help me with that last chunk over by the trash cans. Hopefully once this is done we can take a break from outside projects. This Florida sun and heat is no joke this year. Thank goodness we have a pool to cool off in when I'm on the verge of heat stroke lol
