I just wanted to say I really liked your post about Darren in the Hello Kitty shirt with the picture of your son, doing the same. I'm a mom of three and one of my sons really likes girly stuff: nail polish, glitter, pink stuff, you name it! As a mom, it's really hard to try and let your kid be himself, but at the same time watch all those people judge him for it. Your post warmed my heart, so thank you!

Thank you! I have three too :) I think a mum’s instinct is to protect your child from anything that might upset them, but at the same time let them be themselves. It’s a hard balancing act. I’m grateful to celebrities like Darren who aren’t afraid of being themselves, and who are good, kind people as it gives kids someone to look up to and ‘normalises’ their choices. The sad fact is, my son prides himself on being different, on being his own little person, but others are already starting to ridicule him for that as he grows up. I sincerely hope I can be strong enough for him and normalise it enough for him that he will never feel the need to change.

“Hmm…I was thinking of taking this hot guy I know. I was even thinking of doting on him a bit just because I love him so much. Maybe some flowers, nice quiet resturant, baby at his uncle and aunts house for the night so we have the house to ourselves.” Kurt hummed, “Guess who the lucky guy is? That guy would be you. My amazing, sexy, wonderful husband.” Kurt smiled as he kissed Blaine again, “So what do you say? Will you go out with me?” Kurt batted his eyelashes playfully.

“I’m thinking we can hang out with Cooper and Felicity for a bit in the afternoon before we drop Liam off so that we can talk about the party and then you and I can go out. What do you think?” He smiled.
