Hiatus

sooo I figured it was finally time to make it official. as many of you may know (and for those of you who don’t) I’m currently a first year PhD student and this first semester is kicking my butt, like seriously so hard and so much studying. I really haven’t been active on here for almost 2 months bc all I have time to do is work in the lab and study and I really can’t dedicate time to this blog atm. I’m even cautious to call this a semi hiatus bc chances are me popping in are very few and far between. Mutuals if you want to get in touch with me im active mostly on discord or whatapp so feel free to message me on those. I’m hoping I’ll be back one day (in the near future) but honestly I can’t really make any promises.

“so you’re agreeing with zayn after he’s shading harry?” hey, for once why don’t you get your head out of your ass and realize everything that is said from the mouth of one of the boys isn’t in correlation to harry and doesn’t revolve around him. instead, let’s focus on the Grammys having a storied and ugly history of systemic racial bias, homophobia, misogyny, and gate-keeping that is buried so deeply within the structures of this institution that it is part of its DNA year after year. calling out the institution of award shows and pulling the curtain back behind how vain, prejudiced, and phony it all is has nothing to do with one nominee and everything to do with the shows at their core. none of this has anything to do with harry styles and if that’s all you got out of this, that’s a reflection on your own self-centered attitudes of non-issues than it is about real issues that are coded into the industry since it’s birth and are significantly more important than “boyband member say something 2 shade other boyband member.”
