"Do you think these smell unpleasant?" Alys asked the nearest presence, her hands grasped a bundle of daisies. The flora and fauna here were far different from the Riverlands. She couldn't possibly recreate her more infamous potions but still, she persevered. "I have been roaming through this whole land and haven't found what I'm looking for." The annoyance within her tone had been harsh, not that she meant it. Perhaps.
Looking over from where she flipping through a box of seeds, Annika shook her head. "No, they're my favorites, honestly," she replied. "Why do you ask?"

"That makes two of us," Lohen snickered. "Come on, let's go be disasters together, better than me being bored enough to ambush my roommate whenever I see him."
"I guess I am, don't let these good and youthful look confuse you." Magnus chuckled, giving the other a nod. "Technically, I am over 800 years old, but I tend to change my age from time to time when it fits the need. I tell most people in the city that I am 30 and they seem to believe it." He smiled. "Don't we all, sweetheart."
"Yeah, I'm 520 but if people ask, I say I'm in my late 20's," Annika replied. "I don't know how it is with you, but I got hit with an immortality curse just after I turned twenty and my kingdom was destroyed." She felt like she could trust him with this, which was actually making her feel a little bit better, she really wanted to get it out of her system.

"Yeah, isn't it?" Ellie laughed, looking up at the stars from the cliff they were both standing on. "Man, I used to do this before I came here too, there was a cliff near where I lived I'd watch the stars from whenever I had the next day off from work."

"Yes well, I've just been doing some thinking," Annika said quietly, resting her chin in her hands. "Maybe...if I ever get my ability to dance back from this stupid curse--" Oh Ronova better be glad she never got yanked here (yet) because Annika would have personal beef with the Shade of Death if she did. "--I want to open a ballet school in my basement."

Annika smiled faintly as she sipped her drink. She didn't know why she'd let Glinda drag her out here but to be honest, she was glad she'd agreed. "I guess so," she admitted. "Just...sorry I don't feel like dancing though." She still wasn't sure how to explain how the curse that made her immortal made her unable to dance, so she wouldn't mention it unless it got brought up.

Gojo had to admit one of his favorite things since coming to Ivy Cove would be the 24 hours diner he had discovered on his third day here. So, he walked into the diner like he did on most nights after work and slid up to the counter, taking a seat. "What's up, buddy?" He asked to the other sitting beside him. "I love that I can get a cheeseburger at 2 am. One of the best things about Ivy Cove, honestly."
"Right?" Mavuika said, sipping the chocolate milkshake she'd ordered earlier. "I usually come down here whenever my insomnia gets bad, food helps me get sleepy." Looking down at her half-eaten plate of fries, she nudged it over towards him. "I'm too full to eat the rest of these so feel free to tide yourself over until you get your order," she offered.

"I'm 147 pounds of pale skin and fragile bones, okay? Sarcasm is my only defense." Stiles pointed out with a slight shrug. "We all have those devices we use to keep ourselves guarded and apparently, that is mine. I blame my father. He had a similar level of sarcasm."
"You know what? That's totally fair," Ellie laughed. "Reminds me of someone I knew back home, she also has that level of sarcasm." Ignoring the pang of homesickness that shot through her at the mention of Mondstadt, she sighed and sipped her chocolate milkshake. "So how long have you been here?" she asked. "I mean, if you don't mind me asking."

"I was alive when the Dead Sea was just a lake that was feeling a little poorly." Magnus told the other with a slight nod. "Trust me, darling. Like many things in this world, Ivy Cove is going to come and go. I'd just take it with a grain of salt and deal with it for the time being. We could be in a worse place, right? Like Hell."
Annika couldn't help the soft snicker that bubbled up in her throat at his comment. "So you're a whole lot older than me then," she chuckled, brushing some hair out of her face. She'd ask how old he actually was, but she'd had it drilled into her forever ago that it was rude, so she didn't. "But honestly, I've got my own hell," she confessed softly, fidgeting with the cuffs of her sleeves.

Ellie was now the fourth Knight Varka had been able to locate, if he was also including the Honorary Knight (which he was). And he was honestly relieved there was a small crew of them in this odd town, believing in his knights to be able to handle most anything, even strange worlds and powers they had no idea what to do with. Varka was being patient and waiting for Ellie, having just drank from the flask he kept in his jacket when he saw that familiar head come out of the hospital.
"Looks like the wind has blown a few of us along on this strange adventure." He grinned, slipping the flask back into his jacket before he stood, knowing that if Ellie had her memories there was no doubt she'd know he was talking to her. It was one of the many benefits of being as loud and tall as he was. "It's good to see you again Ellie."
Ellie had just waved goodbye to one of her coworkers and was about to head home when she heard a familiar voice. Brown eyes widened as she turned, bursting into giggles when she spotted him. "Yeah apparently!" she laughed, walking over to offer him a high five. "I was starting to wonder if I was ever gonna run into anyone from home, and it just so happened to be you!" Resting a hand on her hip, she cocked her head to the side. "I was thinking about getting something to eat on the way home, you wanna come with so we can catch up?"

*· ☆,.- “Welcome to The Gilded Room!” Salem looked up when he heard the door being opened, he had not really expected anyone showing up here before opening hours, and he also did not expect any deliveries currently.
"Well well well.... are you maybe lost, my little dove?" He purred slightly. A little curious about what was possibly unfolding in front of him right now. "Because this certainly does not look like a place for someone like you to be at."
"Oh, uh...sorry," Ellie chuckled, looking over her shoulder at the sudden downpour of rain. "Just...the news never said it was going to rain today so I didn't have my umbrella with me when I left the hospital after work. Could I stay until it dies down some so I don't get absolutely soaked on the way home? As soon as it stops raining I'll be out of your hair, I promise."
Another day of tedium honestly. A magical island where no one knew what was going on... it had been interesting for a day or two. Now, he was frankly bored. Never a good thing really, especially when there was no way seemingly out of here. Perhaps dear old dad would eventually show up and do something about it, but more often then not, his solutions caused more problems then actually solved the problems in the first place. Least here he could have some fun.
Least there was still some fun to be had here, and mortals were a special kind of stupid sometimes. It's what made pick pocketing them so easily. Not that he had any intention of keeping any of it. "You know, you really shouldn't keep things in your pocket if you want to hang onto it. Most won't return it like I do" and it was boring anyway.
