I'm coming back to this post cause I just rewatched these scenes (for a gifset hehe) and it's feeding the delusions.
The first scene where Cody has his arms crossed, clearly trying to close himself off from something. Crossed arms can indicate a lot of things anger, frustration, stress, the need to close yourself off from the people around you in some way (there are also practical reasons to cross your arms, trying to keep yourself warm etc. But obvs he's not cold).
His body is also angled in towards the speakers instead of towards the group. Although it's the respectful thing to pay attention to your COs, Cody is also a Commander, so he should be facing the group as well (and he does but not for long).
He's brooding. Overthinking, as fanon so commonly makes Cody an overthinker (which is real, obi wan is his general be fr), and his bucket is tilted down he's making himself smaller. You can tell he's not all there just by looking at Rex's body language for comparison. Head straight, body completely facing the speaker, attentive, open stance, all the signs that he's listening and in a neutral mood.
Something must've been bothering Cody because take a look at this. In "Hunt for Ziro," Cody approaches Obi on the platform while he waits for Quinlan. And Cody stands at parade rest while Obi closes himself off (clearly stressed about working with Quinlan). Cody has no problem keeping himself available and help Obi talk through his concerns.
But when it came to the situation with Satine he's just as stressed as Obi is.

Rex may have noticed it too, he checked in on him in the next shot. I imagine Rex saying something along the lines of:
Rex: "Brother, loosen up we've done assignments like this hundreds of times."
And then they get in that damn lift. something something im kinda sad. something something kicked puppy look. "cody doesn't want to talk to me"
CODY DOESN'T EVEN MAKE BUCKET VISOR CONTACT WITH OBIWAN. WHILE OBI IS MAKING EYE CONTACT WITH HIM THE ENTIRE TIME UNTIL HE TURNS AROUND AND THEN MAKES THAT LOOK. CODY IS LITERALLY LOOKING EVERYWHERE ELSE BUT OBI WHEN HE STEPS INTO THAT LIFT WTF.
ok. i know this is delusions but let me live. ofc obi wan is focused on the matter with Satine (I love obitine btw this arc makes me soft) and clearly anxious/stressed as Ani points out in the lift. Obi pretty much shuts him down bc he doesn't need his feelings clouding his judgement.
But something is going on with Cody in these scenes and it makes me insane. Also gotta point out this is animation. Nothing is unintentional in animation. ESPECIALLY 3D animation which is complicated when it comes to expressions and proper body language since you have to account for all planes of face and body anatomy.
