` headcannon prompts ;; (volume two)
1: what does their bedroom look like? (asked by Kim Kyungsoo)
Sunggyu's bedroom is cozy, and a quite bit messy. The apartment he shares with Jinah is small since they moved out from under his father's jurisdiction, so he has nothing of much luxury. Everything is for practical use, and he wastes no time on organization.
He has a four-poster bed in the far corner piled high with quilts. The concrete of his floor is covered in mismatched rugs: some oriental, some woven. The overlapping rugs are a must since he sleeps on the floor more often than in the bed itself. He has a closet, but almost nothing is actually on hangers, his clothes instead piled on the floor. Clothing is also strewn haphazardly over everything in the room. The light comes from a single window above his bed (with sheer curtains) and various lamps of different shapes and sized. Besides his bed he has an all hardwood desk, a single upholstered chair, and a dresser.
22: paper, pencil, and nothing to do? (asked by Kim Himchan)
Though the weight of the question mainly depends on whether Sunggyu is high or not, it can be answered for both situations.
When high, there's no telling exactly what he would do, but he might draw some of what he is seeing. This can range from his surroundings with distorted spacing and time to ghosts of the past. Every trip he has is different and depends on his mood and what his mind contains at the time. He draws relatively well, but never really finds the time for it. Drawing never finds its way into his sober life though. When sober, he may absentmindedly jot down chemical formulas or things that he has to do that day. All in all, he's much more interesting while high.
27: biggest regret? (asked by Park Hyungseok)
Sunggyu doesn't have many regrets. Actually, none would immediately come to mind once asked. Sometimes he briefly thinks about what it would have been like if he had never been born in the first place, how that would have affected his father's life, his mother's life, and their relationship. If they hadn't had him so early on into their affair, would they have gotten into a better relationship and gotten married? These don't count as regrets since they are things that he had nothing to do with. Nothing in his life he considers a mistake. He was introduced to drugs for the betterment of humankind, and everything he does is moving towards his own personal gain. No matter if his life is dismal and pretty much a wreck, everything has been worthwhile.
37: analytical or emotional decisions? (asked by Jung Jessica)
Though Sunggyu is very intelligent and generally blunt conversationally, his decisions are not entirely analytical. Sure, he only chooses his drugs after being completely sure of their side effects and addiction risks, but any analytical person with their sanity intact wouldn't be a druggie to begin with. Generally he follows logic, but he also has a blatant lack of street smarts and sense of reality. Drug addictions are very much emotional disorders to begin with. Despite his distorted sense of reality and obsession with such philosophical concepts such as the power of the universe, in his day to day work decisions and conversations, his personality remains analytical by default until drugs are thrown into the picture.
