When: Friday, June 11th 1976

Considering it was only her fourth day at camp, there were still plenty of people she didn’t know. That included the girl standing before her but she did know that they were on different teams. Their team captain had made one thing very clear to her, if she ran into the opposing team, she was supposed to fight them on sight. Everything about that made her nervous. “Look, I don’t really want to fight but I also don’t want to lose my first game of capture the flag.” Alma explained the girl, bow and arrow ready in her shaky hands.

Sun-hi hated fighting, and even more she hated that she had to participate in these events that required it. She could tell the girl in front of her was nervous and probably didn’t know what she was doing. “I mean, we don’t have to fight. What if we just play 가위 바위 보?” She decided to suggest while making the hand motions of rock-paper-scissors, not sure of how to say that expression in English and hoping to girl would understand and decide to play.

Date: Monday, June 7th 1976 Where: Armory

Swords, daggers, shields… the armory pretty much had it all. Being surrounded by so many weapons should have made him more nervous than it did. Instead he felt more at peace. His fingers moved lightly over the celestial bronze of one of the blades, his mind going back to the previous years he’d spent here. Hearing a noise at the door, he felt himself startled out of his thoughts. Quickly, he turned around, knocking down multiple swords along the way. “Shi- Hi, sorry, I didn’t- Shit, sorry.”

Usually Suzy skipped any sparing or training with weapons at camp, but since she just got back she decided to have a look around to see who else has arrived so far for the summer. Walking into the armory she immediately recognized Matt standing inside and giggled when she saw him get startled. “Sorry I didn’t mean to scare you!” She walked over to where the knocked over weapons were and began picking them up.
