“Yeah….sure. Okay.” Diego raised his eyebrow right back at her, but decided not to say anymore. He pointed down the path towards the horse shoe arrangement of cabins. “Cabin #6 is to your left. The one with the owl carvings outside.” He grinned. “If you don’t mind, there is a long hot shower with my name on it.”
Alma had a one track mind though, not being able to focus on anything other then the cult comment. Why did everybody act like people who lived in them were crazy? Surely nobody thought that she was crazy. “Have you ever lived in a cult?” She asked, wondering if he was speaking from experience. It was like word vomit, she was unable to stop herself from saying anything. “You don’t actually have to answer that if you don’t want too, I know it’s late and you’re probably tired but I’m just curious.” Maybe it had to do with her lineage, but she felt the need to prove him wrong and herself right. Prove that she knew more then him.
