Soft laughter and low conversations, mixing together in comfortable murmur. It all shines in your eyes, beckoning you forward, and you... Take a step.

The street is an open sea, all yours to explore, and you quickly take to it like a fish in water—vendors happily display and advertise their products from behind the stands that line up each side, vying for even a moment of your attention. Any of them you cross eyes with smiles kindly, even as they speak to someone else.

Trying to grapple with the idea that I kinda don't want to work on this fic anymore... But it's so big, and I've already worked so much on it. Like, is it really all going to amount to being another thing in the Wip Graveyard? On the other hand, maybe this is just a bit of burn out, the normal kind, and not some kind of crisis of faith. Sighs.
