Lord, we need a generation of believers who are not ashamed of the gospel. We need an army of believers who hate to be lukewarm and will stand on Your Word above all else. Raise āem up, Lord. Raise them up.

He decided then that he would love her forever no matter what came to pass. It was not so much a matter of deciding as accepting the inevitability of it.

But I know better. I know about your rough edges and I have seen your perfect curves, and I will fit into any spaces you let me. If loving you means getting dirty, bring on the grime, I will leave this porcelain home behind.

This white womanās shocking account of police brutality reveals the importance of the #BlackLivesMatter movement
Molly Suzanna shared a story on Facebook that she had never told before: when she was 19, she ran a red light while crying, then was pulled over and forcefully removed and beaten by a police officer. She explains in the letter that she believes her situation would have been even worse had she been black ā and she ends the letter with an important call to action.
Relationships nowadays are so tainted by this wicked world. I want a Godly relationship. The kind where a man gets into the Word of God with you, instead of trying to get you into bed.

We as a generation have become experts in the biology, but are illiterate when it comes to the ābeautifulā. We are tirelessly in search of it, but we will never find it until we realize that the ābeautifulā is God! No matter how many times we have sex, no matter how many times we hear the words āI love youā, it will be forever empty if we donāt blend it with the God who invented true love and is Himself the Author of Romance. When you take God out of the center of your world, everything sweet, tender, pure and lovely is sure to quickly follow.

I think that sometimes we get caught up in this whole idea of finding our prince, and living together in love and being in this wonderful godly relationship that we forget that it will get hard. There will be times when life will happen, and the storms of life will threaten that godly relationship and that it wonāt be perfect. God will bring you a prince but donāt expect him to come in robes and in perfection, because thatās part of the reason why God brings this man into your life anyways. He brings him into your life so that you can show Him the love of Christ - the undeserved kind of love, the love that gives without expecting anything in return, the love that comes without conditions. Godly love says that the storms of life will come, but that we wonāt have to rely only our love to keep us together, but that we will have God as the One who is holding us both.

Itās August. I wake up every morning, wash my face, brush my teeth, and text friends, then, then I sit on my bed for 30 minutes looking out my double windows and the morning is foggy just like my mind, I still remember the promise I made to you last year. Even though I donāt really think of you often anymore, I still think about you. I promised you that no matter where I was, no matter how we ended, if we ever did that is, no matter where my heart is, I promise that Iād still remember you. Iāve kept this promise, so far, but someone new came into my life, and I canāt help but to think about him more and about you less. I know Iāll eventually break that promise and forget all about you, probably this time next year, but someday in the future, Iāll be sitting on my bed looking out of my windows, waiting for my husband to finish his shower, and Iāll remember. Maybe just for a moment, but Iāll remember.

Open letter to the man who couldnāt love me.
Dear you, Today, for the first time since we broke up, I cried. Itās not because I miss you. Itās not because I still love you. Itās not even because everything finally came crashing in. Itās been over a year since I fell out of love with you. No. Today I cried because I finally felt the damage you did to me, and I realized that everything that happened was not my fault.Ā I cried hard. My head hurt and my heart hurt and everything hurt because I finally felt relief. The anxiety of feeling like I wasnāt good enough, trying to figure out what I did wrong and why I wasnāt good enough for your love? The years I wasted trying to be enough for you, I finally realized I was good enough for you. You just couldnāt see that. We were so young, so how could you have? Sure, you told me you loved me. And we loved each other. And I believed it all. But you didnāt love me the way I needed you to. You didnāt put me first. You chose any and everything before us. You didnāt want to spend quality time with me. You didnāt kiss me good night. You didnāt tell me you loved me daily. You wanted nothing to do with building a future together. You expected me to do all of the work. You yelled at me whenever I messed up. I cried and you wouldnāt comfort me. You grew angry with me easily. You made sure to point out my flaws and not let me forget they were there. You made me feel like no one would ever love me like you did.
I threw my whole self into our relationship only to be dropped on my face, desperately clinging onto us and trying to put the pieces together as they shattered. I wanted it to work; I truly wanted it to work. I had imagined a life for us full of laughing, crying, joy and sorrow as we navigated growing old together. I saw us having children and having pets and living in a house working our asses off for everything we ever wanted. But somewhere along the way, we lost track of who we were and we never recovered. I tried to fix you while I tried to fix myself and ended up losing in the end.Ā I didnāt just lose the man I was in love with, but I lost my best friend as well. And even though I didnāt cry the day I left you, I spent many nights crying myself to sleep trying to find the solace I found that morning when I packed my things and left.
So today, I cried. Because I found a man who loves me the way I need to be loved. Someone who has become my best friend and who believes I am too good for him. Although most days, I think he is too good for me. And I finally realize what it means to be in a healthy relationship with someone who loves me the way I feel I deserve. I cried because I finally know what love is supposed to feel like and it hit me like a train. This letter is meant to thank you. Thank you for all the lonely nights. Thank you for the emotional abuse. Thank you for all the broken promises. Thank you for the cancelled dates. Thank you for never being there for me. Thank you for pushing me to fight for my happiness, because without this experience, I would have never ended up where I am today, which is on my own, building a name and a life for myself and being stronger than I was when I was with you. You helped me realized my worth and that I deserved more than you were equipped to give me. I met someone who gives me everything you couldnāt. You set me free and Iām a better person after having been with you.
they warn that you canāt make people into home, but when your arms wrap around me, i swear its Ā the house i grew up in. i doubt a kiss can predict the future, but when our lips meet, i swear i can taste the next seven years and a studio apartment. i know that people arenāt medicine but sometimes when youāre here i can forget iām sick. i know youāre not supposed to write of new love, but when i touch the pen to paper, the words flow like i held them in for years. i never really believed in soulmates and i guess i still donāt, but i have faith that my body was built to fit so comfortably next to yours in the bed that i never let anyone sleep in.Ā
