According to my notes, this is the 330th time we've played the word game! It started on discord + the bird site in 2020 & later moved to bluesky + here. It was just a way to keep track of the days in 2020, since our community was pretty disoriented, but I think it's pretty cool we've kept it up. So ty.
"Then he turned around, and just like that he was gone, a gust of wind blowing away the dust trail he left in his wake."
I think this was for the Prologue in For the Love of Freedom. I also found another couple from To Catch a Hedgehog.
"When they were about three quarters of the way to their destination, a trio of racers zoomed past, their Xtreme gears leaving trails of light."
The one above is from Chapter 2.
"It was difficult to see them with how fast they were going, but their voices left a trail of their own as Shadow did his best to keep up with them."

I actually have a full outline for once for Beauty in Rot so I know how the story ends!!
The trade-off is--because of how my outline is structured (chapter by chapter)--chapters are going to be longer lol

I have this cute headcanon that Shadow is surprisingly cuddly when he's sleeping with Amy. He'll have an arm slung over her or his face tucked near her shoulder, and if she shifts away in her sleep, he'll unconsciously scoot closer
He'll deny he's a cuddler to anyone else, but Amy has photos (and several mornings of waking up pinned under a sleepy hedgehog) that says otherwise
