Being asexual and racist is embarassing as fuck. Being racist at all is obviously embarassing as fuck but the amount of racism and especially antiblackness i have been seeing from asexuals recently is obscene.

One of the only asexual activists is Yasmin Benoit, a Black woman. She has raised so much awareness for the community. She was the first asexual person to lead Pride in London, she started the #thisiswhatasexuallookslike movement and is THE leading voice for the community.

And you all will celebrate international asexuality day on April 6th but we wouldn't even have that if she hadn't cofounded it.

plus! a Black woman named Ashabi O created the new ace flag

Ashabi (_aceingrace_ on instagram) making the uni ace flag really revealed a lot of the underlying anti-Black racism in the ace community. so many people have been attacking her for being a Black woman who made a new flag to explicitly include more people in the community.

also Yasmin Benoit's efforts have meant that asexuality is included in the draft conversion therapy ban in Westminster which is one of The biggest wins for the ace community in the UK.

Thought its sad how i dont have any real art of my current really cool sly kid fit. I dont like changing fits alot but this one just stuck with me so here u go

Wister (Damian) with their awesome magic amplifying staff, and animal stage companions! Dont mind the paint on their clothes, they just came back from making some toys for the prizes at the ball game.

Full time magician, part time toy maker. And occasionally sneaks of ship to explore realms or join migrations.

Grew up in the windpaths with theyr cousins, and apprenticed under the radiance guide in theyr teens, learned carving from mask maker there.

Snuck in board carnival ship, got adopted addams style, and now lives there as an illusionist and tinkerer.
