Hellaverse AU Fanfic/Fanart Masterpost

[Content will change from time to time, some I will push through, others I may no longer be interested in the future]

This is a collection of the many, many ideas I have for AUs and concepts that have been haunting the back of my mind and don't seem to be going away anytime soon (I'm look at you, Colburn). Some are multi-chaptered fics, some are one-shots, some are series of one-shots, and some are not in written form—like animatics and/or drawings/illustrations.

Right now, I have the most progress with the Family Remains AU (mainly "You can be king again") while my OC series, the House of the Damned AU, comes second. Third is most certainly my Pride and Punishment AU (*sigh* I'll update you one day.)

And just to be safe, Please do NOT feed any of my works to AI.

Family Remains AU:

This AU was largely inspired by Lark_1987's One Hell of a Family. To put it in a nutshell, what differs this AU from the canon lies with the Seven Deadly Sin and Hell itself. Without spoiling too much, it's things like:

- Hell already existing long before Lucifer and Lilith fell. It's a separate world with its own unique people and fauna. - Satan was already an established ruler with his own kingdom, mainly ruling over the Imps and other dragon-like demons. - Belphegor too already dwells in Hell long before the Fall. - The Sin of Envy of this world is Leviathan Von Eldritch.

The AU currently has two fics, and two more planned ones:

You can be king again - Some time after the battle with Adam and his exorcists, Lucifer travels to the Seven Rings to visit what may or may not be his pseudo-adopted family who are all—according to Charlie anyway—excited to see him again after nearly a decade. Little does he know how this one decision seemingly unfolds an entire series of events that will threaten the very world he calls "home". Status: Active, Ongoing The beautiful and the damned - Prequel to YCBKA, is mainly a collection of short stories and drabbles than an actual longfic. Status: Has updates when I feel like it, not a lot of chapters right now since it has spoilers for YCBKA. Pride before the Fall - Prequel that focuses on Lucifer's childhood with his angelic siblings. Mainly a collection like "The beautiful and the damned". Status: ? [Unrevealed Title] - ? Status: ?

House of the Damned AU

Warning: This AU is arguably one of my darkest, do check the tags for this one. It's a more morbid and solemn retelling of the Hellaverse and features the darker aspects of Hell.

This is an AU that initially focuses on my OC, Colburn Morningstar, Lucifer and Lilith's firstborn son and Charlie's elder brother. The series begins with Colburn's childhood and progresses as he grows older. Charlie has not yet appeared in the fic, nor she will in a while. The second part of the series, however, does focus more on her. And much like her brother, the story begins with her as a child and advances as she grows older.

This AU has three fics planned in mind:

Gloria Regali - Tells the tales of Colburn's more or less lonely childhood, his meetings with his strange family relatives and even stranger "friends"—and how they each influence the kind of person he becomes in the distant future... and the decisions that rise him into power. Status: Active, Ongoing

Peace and Understanding - The story starts with a young Charlie who admires and looks up to her older brother, aspiring to follow in his footsteps in protecting the innocent and helping their world become a better place. But everything Charlie ever thought of Colburn, and her dear benevolent family, all comes into question on one fateful day with a seemingly harmless visit to the Pentagram. Pride and Punishment AU

A series of one-shots/short multi-chaptered fics that focuses on Lucifer Morningstar and the punishments he deals out to those who threaten to upset the balance of his infernal kingdom. Hellborn, Sinner, Lowborn, or Highborn—no one is an exception.

Created before the announcement that Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss now share the same universe, this AU assumes that the Lucifer for Helluva Boss is the Pilot version—who was believed to be a much darker and sinister version of the character. The Lucifer in this world is one of the darker iterations I've written (and some of the events in this AU are inspired by the the Journey to the Light wiki (warning: the wiki has a lot of effed up moments, especially by that version of Lucifer so be wary).

This AU currently has one fic, but has at least three more planned fics on the way:

Pride and Punishment: Chapter I - On the day judgement comes for Blitz and Stolas, a surprising (and not so welcome, in Satan's opinion) newcomer arrives to oversee the rest of the trial. The King of Hell is here, surely things couldn't get any worse than that... right? Status: Complete

It's a Mundane Life AU

A series of short fics and one-shots about a Human AU that tells the tales of Vox and Alastor Auclair's seemingly mundane, married life. There's the occasional shenanigan with the couple's neighbors, the Morningstar family, along with their young daughter (and Alastor's goddaughter), 5-year-old Charlie.

The AU currently has two fics:

Of Food Allergies and Soulja Boy - Vox gets a severe allergic reaction to shellfish. Alastor, like any other good boyfriend, drives him to the hospital and endures his awful playlist of "modern music". The horror. Status: Complete "Vox, you're not fat." - Vox has suddenly started to complain how "fat" he is all the time, throwing tantrums and crying at the most random of things, leaving his dear husband bewildered. The universe was made just to be seen by your eyes AU

A multichapter fic that centers around Lucifer in a time where his marriage has just begun to fall apart, he has already distanced himself from the Sins, all his projects keep failing one after another, and day by day, he's reminded of how truly powerless and worthless he is despite the very crown and title that he wears. His days blur into one, the devil himself growing all the more apathetic and numb as his loved ones desperately try to reach him to no avail, until they too begin to remain in the distance cast between him and them.

So this is how it's going to be, Lucifer dully glared at his own reflection. For the rest of eternity, it's just you and me forever and ever, buddy.

A voice, one that seemingly came out of nowhere, spoke back. "Well, that's a little depressing, isn't it, Samael?"

His breath froze in his own body. Lucifer slowly turned to his side, the oddest chill running down his spine, and stared at a very hyper-realistic hallucination of the one person he never even dared to dream of seeing again.

Fuck, he thought, I shouldn't have fired my therapist.

"Language."

Lucifer took another look at the hallucination of his "Father"—and fainted.

The Better Angels of Our Nature AU

Concept: Due to a particular set of circumstance, Lucifer and Lilith end up raising a little wisp created from the light and essence of Heaven—in other words, a newborn angel. One who, by the judgement of the Elders, is a mistake and deemed a creation born of abomination.

Ever the defiant, Lucifer discreetly disobeys their order of "fixing" the said mistake. Yet it is a terrible secret they must forever keep, for the well-being of their own child as well, young Charlie Morningstar who just turned two—and the giver of her new little sister's name...

Concept: The animatic depicts scenes of a child Alastor and his beloved mother. Born a child of two worlds, Alastor has seemingly decided to forever stay away from the parent that does not want him and stick by his mother's side, protecting her from anything that wants to hurt them. Including his own "father".

A short story/one-shot that centers on a human that will be eventually become as the demon named [ ].

In the 1980s, Jonathan Holloway is a well-loved detective who's a month away from retirement, five days away from seeing his estranged daughter, two days away from his last counseling session, and three years proudly sober.

An eerie case that has gripped New Orleans in its clutches for the last several decades has resurfaced with seemingly new evidence. Jonathan is told to collaborate with a witness who seem to be just as eerie as the very crimes that have haunted the city for a long, long time. Brown hair, brown eyes, and brown skin; a smile that cut like a knife; and every once in a while, he thought those otherwise vacant eyes would flicker into the color of fresh blood. But that was a ridiculous thought, merely a figment of his imagination, yet as the case grows even stranger, and the day of meeting his daughter draws closer, Jonathan realizes this odd fellow with an even odder name may be more than what he claims to be.

The sons were to be his boyhood acquaintances or companions—though if the family didn’t have any girls, they would use the boys instead so long as they weren’t their primary heirs—and then of course, there were the daughters for him to choose as his, dare he even think about it, betrothed.

                It didn’t escape him that it was the Goetia who commonly proposed this idea. What’s worse was that they would typically go on a long spiel about what his own future children might be like if he picked this daughter or that daughter—to which Colburn only responded by retreating back into the far corners of his mind.

The Hierarchy of Hell and Ring of Pride from Gloria Regali, the first part to the House of the Damned AU that currently centers around the existence of Colburn Morningstar, the eldest son to Lucifer and Lilith Morningstar and the older brother to Charlotte "Charlie" Morningstar.

Additional notes:

At this current point of the story, all the Overlords of the Pentagram are Hellborn, though certain Sinners already exist like Zestial.

The Ring of Pride is actually composed of more than the two cities shown above (cities that are mostly dominated by a single species like Imp City in Helluva Boss). The Pandemonium and the Pentagram are simply two of its most significant locations in the Ring.

The Hellborn Overlords can be as strong as members of the nobility (that's why they're sandwiched between the Noble and the Common) but their power and influence is strictly limited to the Pentagram. They can build connections beyond Pride, but compared to families like the Goetia who are much more well-established and their influence more widespread, they often end up paling in comparison.

Anyone can become an Overlord. Be it the most prestigious member of the nobility, or the lowest creature of the common Hellborn.
