I was ask about my hair the other day, and what is involved??
To dye my hair blue, you typically need to bleach your hair to a light blonde first,
Tone out any brassy yellow tones, and then saturate your locks with a blue semi permanent dye.
As I have darker hair, it's just like a 'black hole' it will absorb the colour!! usually appearing muted or black!

Because I'm into vivid blue, the dyes is semi translucent, and sit on the outside of your hair shaft rather than changing its internal structure. platinum level at least a level 9 or 10

To create a neutral, cool-toned canvas so your blue shows up vibrant and true to the colour one apply a toner or a platinum depositing product with a blue-violet base to counteract the remaining warmth.

If you lighten your natural hair to a pale blonde and then dye the colour,, it will mix, leading to a muddy or swampy green result!
