I love Kenina. I don’t know how much I’ll write for her on this blog, but probably at least a little, since realistically, she would be around.

She’s Angel’s teammate, best friend, and wife. 💕

Whenever they still resided in the ruined future as a human, Angel absolutely had to find alternate means of fighting aggressive Pokemon, since it’s not as if they have any special powers of their own at this point in time and they can’t always expect Grovyle to defend them from everything.

So, I imagine they rely a lot on different items, particularly ones that they can throw:

Seeds. These have a wide variety of effects and are very useful for a number of reasons. For example, the Blast Seed lets Angel breathe fire when consumed, or explodes on contact whenever they throw it at someone, while the Sleep Seed will make an opponent pass out asleep, and a Stun Seed will temporarily paralyze a Pokemon. Then there’s Seeds like the Quick Seed, which will make Angel move faster when they eat it, and the Heal Seed, which will restore any status ailments inflicted upon them, like Poison or Paralysis.

Items meant to be thrown in straight lines, usually sharp ones, like Iron Thorns or Silver Spikes.

Geo Pebbles and Gravelerocks. These are pretty self-explanatory; they’re literally just rocks, they hurt, and they can be thrown from long distances. That’s the main function.

Orbs. You don’t throw these, but they’re nonetheless useful. These magical items have a lot of different effects and can be very handy in escaping dangerous situations, especially the ones that inflict temporary status effects that immobilize enemy Pokemon in some way, or if all else fails, the Escape Orb, the surefire way to escape from any dungeon. It’s good to have several of these handy, just in case.
