Hey! Uh happy pride month! it's been a while, and I'm sure training has been such a tiring mess, sooo wanna hang out?
Plus I would rather the girls have a bit of an easier time this month cause- well it's pride but eh-

Mimi blinks for a moment before her eyes soften. Had two months really passed so fast?
"Happy pride month, Abel. I'd love to hang out. If you have somewhere in mind, I can definitely use the time off."
She shudders for a moment, wings ruffling as she looks off to the side.
"It's been busy with training and all, but lately I seem to be on paperwork duty. There's too much overflow, I swear..."
Yeeesh- Yeah paperwork duty is hell in heaven... I could see if some of the other girls can help you with it? If I can't get that, then I'm open to lending a hand.
But that's later.

Hm... Well the days are getting hotter so why not hit up the ice cream shop by the park?
"That sounds like a great idea." Mimi immediately perks up, her wings fluttering again. Leave it to the mention of food to lift her spirits. In fact, she's already facing the park and ready to go.
"But please- don't worry about me-" She laughs, waving her hand dismissively,
"I may complain about the paperwork, but it's much better than Lute running us into the ground with a dozen drills a day."
Her thoughts immediately return to the parlor though, and she murmurs to herself-
"Y'know, I wonder if they have a birthday cake flavor... I haven't had something like that since I was alive..."
Eh alright? I mean the drills aren't too bad but oh well
Hm... Birthday cake... I've heard of that being in a parlor somewhere here...
Abel hums in thought as he tries to remember which ice cream shop had it last. Unfortunately he ends up sighing.
I uh can't remember. Oh well, if they do have it then it's your lucky day!
Abel's sympathetic smile morphs into a grin as an idea pops into his head. Before even asking, his wings stretch in preparation.
How about a small race to the park? I'll pay either way, so not really too high of stakes.
In training he has seemingly gotten more focused and more agile, odd shift really. Before Abel never really cared about it. Was this a ploy to try to get her to exercise a tad more?-
Hook, line, and sinker.
Her competitive spirit, untamed thing that it is, immediately flares to life upon hearing the mention of a race. A chance to stretch her wings without any restrictions. It's become one of her favorite things to do since she became an angel.
"Good thing, because you'd definitely be paying if you're challenging me to a race." Mimi beams, her grin crooked but absolutely overjoyed.
"Better be ready to eat my feathers."

"O-oh that's what you meant." Well now he just felt silly, although there was little ache in his heart. Somewhat yearning for the old days but also for a new purpose. His tail flicked, "What?" He turned to her. "Your pipe dreams across my desk when you were little?" He recited, he gave her another once over, "You're an exorcist angel." He said quietly. He stepped closer to her with his head canted, his eyes locking onto hers, looking deep into hers, "Miss. Mimi...Are you not Heaven borne?"
MImi blinks, taken aback by his question. She forgot that not everybody knew her origins. In fact, only a few people did. Not a lot of folks in Heaven asked questions about the exorcists, so it only stood to reason they'd remain largely unknown.
"Oh- I forgot you probably wouldn't- Yeah, no." She laughs a little bit.
"One hundred percent born and raised a human soul! Drafted into the army from around the time I got here."
His tail bobbed this way and that as he gave her another look over. How strange. How odd!
Like a little bird he hopped to the side and hopped to the other.
"if you don't mind me asking. Did you manifest looking the way you do?"
He gestured to the streets below. "Most Souls don't arrive here looking so....humanoid or did you change when you were recruited?" He wanted to know this strange exception. Or was it perhaps not an exception and it was common but everyone was told differently.
Mimi looks herself over for a moment. Really, truly, considers her form. Warbie has a point. Most Earth-born souls looked nothing like they did in life.
Yet here she was, looking the same, save for her paler complexion now that angelic blood ran through her veins, and the small blue wings that sprouted from her back.
"Y'know, I... never really... thought about it..." She murmurs, turning her gloved hand over as she looks at it.
"I've looked like this since I got here, but... you're right. It is kind of unusual, isn't it..?"
Mimi definitely wanted to take Twute up on the offer she made Easter day. The overlook near the Compound... Well, she was here. She wasn't quite sure where to go from there, though, so she took the other words to heart and called out in a slightly louder tone of voice,
"Uh- Twute, ma'am?" She's not quite sure if she should still use honorifics. Probably, given the other woman still ranked above her.
"I came over for whatever you want to make!"

-A small white head pokes out a doggy door...eyeing Mimi. Goose the Microrapter makes a loud sound, a shrill cry. Moments later, there's Twute....batter on her apron and a friendly smile on spotting the other.-
Mimi! You..made it. Do..come in, please. Just...working on..a pie top.
She's a bit startled by the small dinosaur's appearance, but finds herself laughing a bit when it cries out to signal that she's arrived.
Mimi waves to the other woman and walks on into her home behind her, folding her wings tight to her back to not knock anything over that may possibly be right behind the entrance. It wouldn't be the first time.
"Oh, that sounds great! What kind of pie are you making?"
-The little dino hops onto a dog bed on the couch and dozes off as Twute leads to the large kitchen...the windows overlooking the Training Grounds as always.-
Rib filled pie for Adam. I...am taking him to a spot soon..to properly hang out...I'm almost done if you...want to watch?
"A meat pie, huh? Never actually had one." Mimi hums, watching with an almost fond expression as the little raptor immediately returns to what she assumes is probably the little guy's favorite napping spot.
"Sure, I'd love to. Not really familiar with baking, so hopefully I don't hover too much." She laughs a little nervously, knowing all too well she may just end up peering over the other woman's shoulder like a nosy dog.
I do not mind. A bit of.. hovering never hurt anyone.
-With that she shows Mimi as she works, spreading dough out to make the pie tops, stretching it over the pie and such. Pretty soon there's two meat pies ready for baking.-
See? It's not easy...but not too easy? I.. Think.
-She pulls a smaller thing of ham and cheese pastrys off a cooling rack and offers them to the older Exorcist. -

Mimi watches Twute prepare the pies with rapt attention, a bit of fascination in her eyes. She'd always enjoyed the concept of baking, but never really tried. Surely it couldn't be that hard, right..?
She snaps back to reality when the other woman offers a pastry, and she gladly tries it.
"Mm- Oh, wow... This is really good! The crust is so flaky..."

It seems almost identical to Lute's— whetstones and polishing creams, rock albums and vinyls, and a squishmallow that matches as well, but in a different color than Lute's.

-She was a bit caught off by this. At first her eyes narrow..not to be mean but simply in thought. This....right! Mimi! She's not met the woman despite recently helping with training Abels Squad so it's a decent surprise.-

Mimi waves her off as well, a soft smile on her face. She finds herself thinking for a bit that her and Twute will get along just fine, which is a relief to her.
She doesn't think she could deal with two lieutenants that get on her case.

Saint Peter had nervously stumbled over just as the festivities all seemed to quiet down and everyone was heading home. His hair seemed a bit disheveled. He was "a bit" disheveled.
I know I don't know you as well but I got you something! Hope it's alright. Sorry for getting to this so late.
The gatekeeper held out a gift basket of his own towards the exorcist. Inside were a couple of baked goods, gummy worms, a portable/handheld back massager, a microwaveable teddy bear, some bath salts with rose and lavender petals in them, and a scented candle that smelt of berries and pine.
I thought it'd be good to get you stuff to help with relaxing after trainings and whatnot!

"Abel, sir-" She walks up to him slowly, holding the light colored basket in her hand. It seems to be mostly taffies, but there's assorted chocolates, and little marshmallows shaped like birds and sheep. Hidden behind the candies, there seems to be a hint of a little plushie as well, though it's a bit too buried to see clearly.
"Happy Easter."

He looks at the basket she handed to him with curiosity, moving it to see each candy clearly. His smile softens at the treats she gave him; they were just so cute and thoughtful to him.

Mimi had made her way to the Embassy in Hell, asking to meet with Damian for the day, reasons unknown to anyone but her.
When he arrives, he sees the young woman smiling while holding a basket of various candies and Heavenly treats.
"I don't know how familiar with modern human holidays you are, but I'd like to give you something for today. Happy Easter, Damian."
"aww shucks you didn't have to " Damian smiled happily as he arrived to the embassy carrying his own basket of hellish treats he didn't know what she'd like so the pup got her a little bit of everything
She's surprised to see that the young prince brought a basket of his own, and she can't help but laugh a bit when they exchange the baskets.
"I didn't have to? You didn't have to either, you know."
"it felt right " the jackal chuckled before sitting on one of the tables of the embassy "sooo how have you been doing anyways eh?" He chewed on one of his candy bars smiling at mimi
"I've been alright." She hums, grabbing something from the basket she was given and starting to munch on it as well. She's not quite sure what it is, but it tastes so richly of chocolate that she can't really be bothered to worry.
"Gotten the day off of training since Easter is so important in Heaven."
Mimi tilts her head and looks over to Damian.
"What about you? You and yours doing alright?"
"oh we're good we've been doing an egg hunt for the more shy residents of the hotel it's good " he tried what looks like a heaven made fudge as the Jackal purred "oh this is brilliant"
"Ah, egg hunts... I didn't participate in any of Heaven's this year." She laughs.
"That was mostly for the kids."
"I'm glad to hear you all enjoyed your own festivities, though."

"Baked goods and sweets! Amazing! Ms. Mimi I can't wait to try these! Thank you so much! Happy Easter! Oh!" He reaches into his hat. "I wasn't expecting anything today so I picked a few of these up while they were still around, so you can have one! It's an Easter Bilby!"

"Oh!" Mimi takes the little chocolate figure and looks it over in both wonderment and confusion.
"A... bilby..? Is this... a real animal..? Like... based on something from Earth..?"
She's absolutely delighted by the gift, even if she can't parse what a bilby is, and grins at the cherub.
"Well, regardless, thank you so much. It's so cute! I'd almost feel bad eating it."
While she's one of the couple of people Mimi isn't exactly eager to interact with, the woman doesn't want to leave her superiors out of her small bit of holiday cheer.
Though, of course, Lute's Easter basket mostly seems to be less about sweets and more about things she'd hope the woman would like— items for maintaining her weapons, albums that she'd overheard Adam recommended to the other girls, and— at the advice of some anonymous tip— a singular squishmallow.
