how it started vs. how it's going (some ep "one" appreciation!!)

i almost gave up on this tote bag at least six times so far. and both of my markers just stopped working but i'm definitely not giving up on it now, if only out of stubborness.

i'm half following nemesis design's cover of 'one', half winging it because i didn't get the proportions quite right

it was so neat 😭 here's an update a year later that no one asked for

#some parts have this weird yellow stain for some reason #and it's very obvious now that i used two different markers #(compare the flowers and the needles for example)#and there's a stain (from mushroom sauce i think?) that's not visible on the photo but it's visible irl and it annoys me #but overall it's holding up well! especially considering i got caught in rain with it multiple times #i love practical and subtle merch! i use it all the time :) no one's recognised it yet though :(#i miss doing things like this i feel like my creativity has been murdered lol #tldr: DON'T USE TWO DIFFERENT MARKERS FOR PROJECTS #<- copying my og tags because i don't know why i didn't just put that in the body of the post
