Hi, sorry for bothering! I am just a big fan of SB, thank you for your work!😊I would like to ask, maybe you know, where can i find good quality videos of the season 3 (starting from episode 539, i guess)? I was searching everywhere, still no luck..

Hello! Not bothering at all. There are no good quality versions of S3 available to the fans (if by good you mean the same quality as the CBS Drama episodes). This is because season 1 and 2 aired in Poland in around 2016 so they could be digitally recorded by fans. But they never aired season 3 (probably because they weren’t getting enough viewers). So the good copies of S3 remain locked in their vault 😥 The copies that are floating around of S3 (which you’ve probably found) are a mix of versions from different countries that aired in the early 2000s - on VHS - hence why the quality is so variable 😅 But at least the whole collection exists I guess 🙂

Thank you very much for the Rosario soundtrack! There's also a longer version of that piano melody, if I find it in some episode, I'll message you. Regarding Gabi/Antonio music, you can also find it in the middle of the Youtube video "Sunset Beach Season 3 Episode 23 Part 1 of 4 Originally Aired 02-09-1999". Hope that works!

To anon who requested the soundtracks, I’ve just posted the Rosario Jewels one as it was on my list anyway. I had a look at the Gabi/Antonio video and the background sound is too loud to be able to isolate the music 😔 Are there any other examples of that music that you know of in another episode?

Hi! Great that you're extracting SB's background music and uploading edits! I've always tried to find the BGM melodies, but it's hard to even figure out who composed them. Anyway, is it possible for you to extract 2 more melodies? One is mainly featured in Rosario Jewels storyline (but not only), there's a sample at 3:50 on a Youtube video named "Rosario Jewels Chronicles [7]" (can't link here). The other is a popular guitar track at the start of video "Antonio and Gabi make love - Part 2".

🎶 I’ve had a go at isolating some of SBs instrumental music! Here’s my first attempt - Maria’s theme (Latin version - there are different versions of this music in the show). The slightly wobbly sounds are where the dialogue was on top of the music, but didn’t turn out too bad! Let me know if there’s any more you want me to try! 🎵 🎹

Do you know who sings the song that I think is called Promise Me? It was playing in the background I think during a Ben and Meg clip. I have an old file of the song but no artist name!

Hi! Sorry I don’t know which song that is but I usually would just Google a few of the lyrics and that often will give you the answer. 🙂 Some of the songs were written especially for the show so it can be difficult to identify the artist because they weren’t always credited.

Sunset Beach - the reunion!

To celebrate 25 years since the start of the show, some of the actors joined the Locher Room live for a 1 hour reunion. Aired live on 17th Feb 2022. Featuring Virginia, Gabi, Maria, Francesca, Caitlin 2, Sean, and Michael.

🌟🌟🌟 It’s 22 years today since SB ended and to celebrate 25 years since it began (in Jan), Soap Opera Digest has interviewed Clive (Ben), Lesley (Olivia) and Dax (Tim)!!! 😯😯😯 It’s so exciting to hear from them!!! If anyone can’t read this (because of visual impairment or translation reasons), please let me know and I’ll type out the relevant parts 💚Interesting parts are:

- Clive is up for a reunion and meet up with fans

- He didn’t have off screen chemistry with Susan (guessing this suggests they weren’t bffs)

- Lesley liked being Cruella

- Dax is still in touch with a lot of the cast and loved working with Sarah (Annie)

- No one thinks they’ll redo the show (we can still dream!)
