Not having any demogorgon's in the final battle was really a waisted potential because if Will can control the hive mind we could've had him taking control of a bunch of demogorgon's and using them to clear the way for the party to get to the children.

Is so funny that when we said the Duffers clearly changed their mind on Byler endgame midway through season 5 people claimed they wouldn't have changed the script after already filming 4 episodes, just for us to find out they didn't even had the script while filming those episodes lmao

I love how no one warned the Duffers to not go forward with that documentary, because it exonerates everyone else that worked on the show and make the Duffers look even more stupid than they already did, and I think they actually thought the public would love that shit they came up with for the finale and when they realised the shit show it had become it was too late to call it off on the documentary because it was already done.

I was watching TV with my mom and something came up, I don't even remember the context, but I made a "Stranger Things secret 9th episode" joke thinking she wouldn't even get it, and then she started talking about how she saw a video about it and pointing out how the ending didn't make any sense, y'all don't get it she is the most chronically offline person ever, and she even mentioned searchbargate, what is going on the Duffers broke even my own mother.

Joyce killing Vecna would have so much more weight if they had that scene from the play were she is telling Henry he is not evil and he says "you are a nice person Joyce" and that she needs to be "willing to do whatever it takes to protect the ones you love", in the actual show.

Worst than we not getting Byler on screen I didn't even got a Will Byers fake death so I could edit Byler with Ruin the Friendship, the Duffers really hate me

When Netflix announces season 6 in the 10th Anniversary event, not because they intended to, but because comformitygate became so loud they had to do something about that ending

We know Will and Jonathan are living in New York, and by logic as a writer Mike is too, so Will and Mike helping Jonathan make his movie is canon.

Conformity gate reached insane levels, my GA coworkers were talking about a secret episode coming out in the 7th. That is how bad the ending was, even the GA is believing crazy theories because it was so fucking bad no one can believe it.

In my version of Stranger Things, Will knows for a fact El is alive because he sees her when she looks for them through the void to make sure everyone is okay, and he promises her to never tell anyone to keep her safe, but she oftens visit him and they share stories about their adventures.

Me: I'm doing so fine after the ending of Stranger Things, the lack of answers doesn't bother me at all

Also me: did the ending credits implied that Will was born out of these characters imaginations?

As someone who watches a lot of series and franchises I developed a belief that if an actor plays a character for more than 5 years they should have a bigger say on how that character story moves forward, specially how it ends. The way that Noah, Finn and Millie are showing so much more knowledge about their characters and their show than the Duffers proves my point.

Somewhere in future in the Stranger Things timeline there are fans of the very niche writer Mike Wheeler who wonder if he is in a relationship with the illustrator of his books because they are very private people but also very clearly together

Why I think is worth to believe in comformitygate:

1 - The inconsistencies make a lot of sence if it is all an illusion from Vecna

2 - We don't need to believe in the one last episode part because we know there are going to be spin offs and a possible revival in the future that can solve the situation.

3 - Even if we never get anything new from these characters and that truly is the ending, at least is more a interesting ending if Vecna won.

4 - Personally it gave me a lot of peace of mind about the ending so maybe it would help you guys too.

5 - We still get to analyse shit and make theories which for me was one of the best parts of the show

Okay comformitygate is an insane good theory but the thing is, I don't think there is a secret last episode, is meant to end like this. Max tells Mike "Comfort and happiness? I thought you were supposed to be some great story teller". The Duffers don't think happy endings are great story telling, this isn't a happy ending, Vecna won, they are stuck in his mind, the clues are there we just have to find it. There won't be a one last episode to fix this, this is the ending.

We might get some reference to confirm this in the spin off, or maybe if Netflix does do the revival in a few years they manage to find out the true and defeat Vecna for real.

I think the reason I really want someone to come out and say it was Netflix fault they didn't do Byler is because I've actually shipped a hundred ships that never went canon and I don't really care, but for the first time in my life I actually believed. For the first time in 13 years of shipping I actually thought this one meant something. So I keep telling myself the Duffers wanted Byler, that they intentionally left the door just a little bit open for it in that end because Netflix didn't let them go with it because I rather believe in the evil of capitalism than on the evil of them just playing us for fools
