Hi my name is Maddy and I’m participating in an event called Dance Marathon. Dance Marathon is an event where you raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network, which is a nonprofit that earns money for kids with cancer or other diseases and then helps them pay for their medical bills. (There is more information about the organization and Dance Marathon on the website linked below!) At Dance Marathon you are supposed to stand and dance for 8 hours to endure a little bit of the pain that the kids in the hospitals feel. This is my second year participating in this event and it means so much to me! The first photo above is a picture of me and my friend Emily (a fellow swiftie) at the Dance Marathon event last year. The video is a video of me dancing like crazy to my song suggestion “Shake It Off” @taylorswift @taylornation at the event :) And the last photo is a picture of me with my sign I made for the event. Hey Taylor! I know you probably won’t see this but I would like to thank you. thank you for making music that helped me through the worst times in my life. Whole time of Middle School was terrible, I didn’t like myself, I hated myself, I hated everything about me. I was around people who were bad for me.
