In an effort to get out of the house, we attended a Christmas festival where real snow was involved. Poor Wallace could not understand what his sisters were smiling and laughing about as they frolicked through the frigid fluff. In the end, the unnatural climate proved too much for his delicate constitution. Christmas kind of takes a back seat when your husband suddenly undergoes emergency hand surgery. I'm grateful for the few decorations we have, but mostly grateful to have @robbles fixed and safe at home with me. 🤕 #recoveryishard #countingourblessings #thankyouforthelove ❤️

The patient is doing well. The surgery on the sliced tendons in his hand and fingers went well. The mobility in his hand should return but some nerves were damaged. We're grateful it wasn't worse and anxious to get him home. Thank you for all your love and support. It means a lot to us. ❤️ (at Banner Gateway Hospital)
