This pinned post will inform you a bit about the character, some unique circumstances regarding him, things you should be aware of when interacting, and the person who writes him! I sincerely hope you enjoy it. :)
THE CHARACTER HIMSELF.
Liam Sunshine was an OC created on a Multifandom RP server about a year ago. He started as a character that I would rarely think about, and grew to be my #1 original muse. Friends of mine interlocked their character's lore with his, so you'll probably hear vague references to it in RP. He's set in the SCP 'verse, inspired by the title of a Will Wood song, with slight influence from the game We Happy Few. However, he is his own character, and he stretches far beyond just that!
With the "backstory" set aside, I invite you to look at his 4.3k word DOCUMENT, that entails everything about the character - from personality, to backstory, to strengths and weaknesses. That can be found at the bottom of the post! PLEASE mind the TWs/CWs at the top of the doc, they are serious and important, and I just want everyone who reads it to be safe!
There's one important character missing from the backstory, but they'll be mentioned in RP and, one day, added to the doc! Keep an eye out. π
One final thing, before we move on;
I (the writer) am an indie dev. I hold this character very, very close to my heart, and he, the mystery character, and his story are going to be turned into a full fledged RPG/VN in the coming years. It's going to take a lot of work! ^^;
With that said, if you end up liking his character, please keep posting about it strictly on Tumblr! This account is like a little experiment; to see how people like the character and what could be improved. (It's also quite a bit of fun, because I ADORE writing him!!)
I'd also like to keep most things about the game under wraps for the moment, so do note that when asked, I can only answer questions vaguely.

- Liam has always favored the cold, and with his undead characteristics and CONSTANT frigid body temperature, Winter is now his favorite season. He likes it best when it's icy, and only snowing a little. The grey skies and biting cold allow him to focus; and if he could, he'd keep it that way all the time.
Before his...incident, it used to be Spring! He would love the rain and the budding trees, and the new series of plants and overall growing life inspired him.
He's since put this mindset away.
- Liam has constantly wished and dreamed and, quite frankly, prayed for the concept of success. He wants to be notable, important, and influential. Power SHOULD come naturally to him! It's...unfortunate, that his mild stint in the field of recognition was so short-lived. Literally.
- Liam practically LIVES in his lab coat. If he's seen without it, he must be having a rough day. Even if he's not wearing it, he has it with him. Maybe it's the sense of security and importance that it brings. Maybe it's company policy. Either or.
Aside from his lab coat, he's a frequent wearer of colorful socks. Pinks, greens, and of course, yellows, all in a very vibrant hue, are the kind of socks he favors. Often mismatched, different lengths, and most certainly unprofessional. Yeah. THAT'S how he likes it.
- Y'know, some might say Dr. Sunshine has made no improvement whatsoever. That he's always been this...cunning, scheming, epitome of misconduct. That isn't far from the truth, but Liam has had some points of growth, for the better.
As a small example; his long-set, internalized homophobia, from when he was a young child, is something he has well overcome. Despite his...many flaws, bigotry is not one of them. He's come to accept himself and others, without any kind of stain on it. It really was...for the better.
- He DESPISES the beach. Something about the sand, and the waves, and the SUN, and...the whole damn EXPERIENCE is just aggravating. The Foundation planned a company trip there once, in which he avoided the rest of his team, attempting to play it off. And while yes, he can swim (not well, but he can), he won't dare go near the ocean. Not because he's afraid! Because it's just...gross. Unsanitary.
But there is one perk of being technically-dead: you don't fry up with sunburn. But he's not a fan of the massive exposure anyway.
- Being raised in a Catholic family, of course there were little outings with the church, little...get-togethers, for kids and parents alike. There was an orchard event, for sure, and what's just as sure is that his younger self adored it.
Nowadays, he's not much of a fruit guy to begin with, let alone taking a minute to even THINK about stopping work to go...picking.
- Liam's a fan of abstract art, especially the horror-y kind. The stuff that's all scribbled out, all messy, making some kind of complicated picture with loads of deeper meanings. He doesn't have a favorite artist, he'd say, but that GENRE is definitely a favorite.
- Alexanderite HAS to be his favorite stone. Not only can it be considered his birthstone, it's just pretty to look at. The bluish-greenish color is stunning, and he likes the notion that it represents June. That it represents him. Hard, and unfaltering. Valuable? Yeah. That's Liam.
- He doesn't tend to sleep much, given how much he's generally dosed up. The energy Cheer gives him helps him stave OFF sleep, because not only does he view it as a waste of time, but to avoid frequent and graphic nightmares is always a plus. His nightmares are a constant, anytime he sleeps, he'll dream SOMETHING. Sometimes it's acid-trippy, sometimes it's frighteningly realistic. His own subconscious likes to torture him, undoubtedly.
- Liam used to be hard believer in fate, that God planned out everything meticulously, and that he was on the right path.
Now it's more..."Things happen as they happen. The world is cruel. And if you can't beat 'em, join 'em." He's not going to tell you something like "there are no coincidences," in fact, he'll tell you all about how, yes, they exist, and how, yes, you should stop talking to him about it.
- Liam is incredibly unique, whether it be his dead, pupilless eyes, his longer-than-average nails, or the way he digs his nails into his palm at the slightest inconvenience, he has loads of traits and habits that set him apart.
- He was never much of a traveller, he's always lived happily in the good ol' state of [REDACTED], and he's never left the country. He does have quite the obvious passion for science, however, and dreams of visiting Europe and taking in all the science centers and all the information his brain can hold. Hopefully he'll get some more ideas when the time comes.
