No no you don’t understand. When I say One Direction is my home, I mean it.

It is because of One Direction I found an online community filled with the most incredible people.

Their music has been a soundtrack, a constant thread through so many of my experiences.

I have had some of the best days and some of the worst days of my life in this fandom. And we have weathered so much joy and so much grief together. We’ve lost people. We’ve seen scandals, we’ve seen triumphs. There has been kindness and generosity and love and heartache and pain and tragedy.

And through it all we’ve had their music, and each other.

We’ve laughed. We’ve cried. We’ve fought, we’ve come together, we have loved, and we have mourned.

What could possibly be more of a home than that?

Happy sixteen years of the band that changed (ruined? lol) my life.

From the bottom of the stairs to the top of the charts, always in our hearts (😉), one band, one dream, One Direction. Thank you, all of you, for making this my home.

what is driving me insane is NOT the fact that he sang two ghosts; it is the fact that he sang BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER at the END as if he is saying “it was a long journey, we suffered a lot, we hurt each other, we were hurt by others, BUT we made it”.
