I’m beginning to really disdain these organizations that provide free everything to the struggling people in Africa. For one, they hardly have infrastructure and farming. Okay, so they need food and necessities. Some brilliant african man is like “Huh, lets see if I can solve this” and starts his farm. He manages to pull together seed, fertilizer, maybe some farm equipment by some mighty act of god. I’ll keep this simple. Lo and behold, a farm is had, food is growing and he’s so excited to begrowing. Harvest time comes, he labors day in and day out to harvest it all as fast as possible. He gets some of it to market to sell it at fair prices. 

Few people buy his food, or expect it for free. He knows his people are hard up for food, but he can’t just give it away for free, he has to be able to plant and harvest again, and that isn’t free. Come to find out, many of the people who would need that food, don’t need to buy it from him. He finds out that there is this charity organization from overseas, giving out free food to the needy. Just about everyone needs something. He relizes nobody will buy his food that he toiled to plant and harvest, to help his people. His farm is doomed to fail, he can’t survive with free food being his competition. To all the fucking cunts who believe these overseas charity organizations are “doing good work” making it impossible for any sort of economic growth to occur in that region. And that is the crux of all this. Ease for others to read and listen. If one speaks in such a way that someone is unaccustomed to, who should adapt? If the listener is of the majority, then for ease and productivity, it would be better for the minority to adjust their speech to the majority. Why can’t anyone just use whatever they want and give definition and context for their own dialect/grammar/etc within these types of writings? Because It’s tedious, time consuming, and a burden upon the reader. If you utilize accepted terminology and proper grammar, reading becomes a far easier task for others.

And that is the crux of all this. Ease for others to read and listen. If one speaks in such a way that someone is unaccustomed to, who should adapt? If the listener is of the majority, then for ease and productivity, it would be better for the minority to adjust their speech to the majority. Much like you would learn another language while traveling to another country, rather than expect them to know yours.
