Akashi can actually be very emotionally mature, but the second it comes to MC flirting or someone trying to get close to them, his brain is fried and he becomes a stuttering jealous idiot.
I think I forgot to mention it before, but there was a part where they're walking through some rubble or something and Norbrand offers MC his hand, so they won't fall. And Akashi ofc starts tweaking and telling that old man to step off and he'll handle it, which makes Xeno Akashi insult him for being lame.
Even though Xeno Akashi can be considered academically smarter, Akashi still beats him on an emotional level since he was able to handle the MC Changing dilemma and he still tries to reach out and help Xeno Akashi with what he's going through. Though to be fair, Xeno Akashi probably has mild brain damage because he forces his body to blackout from lack of sleep.
It would be very difficult for Xeno Akashi to return home after he finds his friend [insert that Does He Know? meme right here], so Akashi suggests that he just settle down here with the Parallel Flight crew instead. That way his friend will have somewhere to return to.
Akashi starts nagging that dumbass for not taking care of himself, like MC did earlier, even though his friend totally wouldn't be happy with him doing that to himself. Also that he shouldn't give up on his dreams and that the two of them can get him back into baseball and they could play catch together.
I think it's funny that he tries to act standoffish and like a lowkey hater toward them, but he's actually envious over the fact that Akashi and MC share the same braincell and they're very carefree and happy together
Also, they use MC's sprite for Xeno Akashi's flashback to him and his friend?? I'm not sure if that means that they technically do share the same base, but there's something different about them or if it's just easier to use their sprite.
Going to be very funny if the final part comes out and they just never address the friend-shaped object in MC's mouth. Like, you can tell that Xeno Akashi has an idea about what happened, but he never admits it and Akashi clearly doesn't know either because he's still talking about Xeno finding them.
