TOBY DAMMIT (Italy/France, 1968)
Fellini's superior contribution to the Edgar Allan Poe inspired omnibus film SPIRITS OF THE DEAD is the maestro pushing the hallucinatory boundaries of cinema that he indeed impeccably achieved with much of his 60s and 70s output. Terence Stamp plays Toby Dammit in a mind-bending performance as an English actor at an Italian film awards gathering trying to maintain his drunken composure amongst all of the absurd revelry. Both sumptuously beautiful and comically grotesque, it's Fellini at his far-out best.

BEDAZZLED (UK, 1967)
Pete and Dud at their best in this swinging take on the Faust legend. Top-notch comedy genius with Moore as the hopeless Stanley Moon up against the diabolical whimsy of Peter Cook's Satan incarnate.
The film features the all-time classic title track Bedazzled written by Moore and Cook. Pseudo-psychededelic-psoundtrack at it's most psatirical.

EL TOPO (Mexico, 1970)
Incredible artwork for the inimitable EL TOPO - one of the greatest cult films ever put to celluloid. Directed by the one-and-only Alejandro Jodorowsky, this film has become a legend of surrealist cinema with its cross-pollination of spaghetti western, philosophic overtones, and outright psychedelic chaos. Released by Allan Klein's ABCKO Films, it has been championed by, among others, John Lennon and David Lynch and became a massive hit on the midnight movie circuit on through the 1970s.
