Papa, happy birthday in heaven! It has been very different without a resident doctor in the house. Wala nang free medical consultations and unsolicited lectures on life. We miss having those, but may pumalit naman sayo sa pangangaral kay Awee, kami lahat yun na magkakapatid na dumaan sa very strict parenting mo sa amin. Papa, . I regret not taking too many photos with you in your lifetime when I had the chance. I tried to look, but our last photo together na walang ibang kasama was back in 2012 during my college graduation, hindi ka pa nakangiti. Siguro I just have to look harder. Meron pa yan somewhere. But okay lang naman, because the best moments and memories are better experienced than captured. . I just want you to know that I am forever grateful of your life, no matter how short, for all the love and support that you gave as our father. Look at us, you groom us all well. You are our motivation and inspiration to always be the best in whatever it is that we do (aka our beloved "disciplinarian"). Happy first father's day to you in heaven. You will always be remembered.
