I'm going to NYC tomorrow for a few days and I'm really excited. It's sort of my graduation/18th bday present and I requested that my mom not schedule anything for us to do. We do want to see one or two Broadway shows and also go to moma but other than that I want to spend the rest of the time exploring and shopping. Oh man I'm so pumped up for this trip. I wish I wasn't going with my mom but at least some of the time she'll stay back at the hotel to work so I can go shopping by myself. If people have suggestions of stores or fun neighborhoods or anything I should check out in NYC, let me know!!!

smile more, especially at random people

Sometimes I just have days where I really, really need to be reassured that people still like or want me or want to be around me and I feel bad because I can’t communicate this need to people but I know they can’t possibly instinctively know when I need this reassurance

omg this reminds me of the most adorable time when my friend had leaked in art class and she was tearing up a bit and this guy who’s usually quiet but is judged as a jerk because his friends tend to be jerks gets up and throws red paint on the side of her shorts and on his own shorts and throws a couple of other colors in too and starts a mini paint war and other people joined in and i nearly cried because of how cute it was
