also while i'm making original text posts to procrastinate work, i've been doing invisalign for idk like 7-8 months and a refinement was included in the price so i was like yeah sure pls refine also, but when I was going in to get the refinement aligners i was reallllyyyyyy doubting my decision lol i was like why am i doing this why am i putting myself thru this when the result was already fine, but the very first aligner is already making everything feel a little more even and balanced so i am now officially glad i'm doing it despite the Horrors lol

Currently watching: uhmmmm I've been rewatching rick and morty but frequently in the sense of I will put on an episode and be cooking or cleaning or napping the whole time. actually lately I've been annoyed w myself because I don't WANT to watch inane youtube clickbait but a lot of the time I just want bg noise or something to half-watch while eating or lazing so I never end up watching anything new! maybe someday!!

Currently reading: nothing really? my job requires a lot of deep reading so my brain gets kind of fried on it a lot. similar issue to above, I just end up rereading stuff I've already read.

Current obsession: I feel like I've been going thru 3 separate existential crises the last few months LOL but recently landed on relearning to code and it's been absolutely lighting up my brain despite the insane levels of frustration! every time I think "oh i can just implement this one simple thing" that is the devil talking it is actually 4 extremely intricate things and you have broken what you already had and every tutorial does it a different way and says the other way is wrong and bad actually and you are making a much simpler thing so you do not need 80% of the stuff the tutorial is doing but you are also stupid and don't know how to do it on your own that's why you need the tutorial. but ohhhhhhhhHHhhHHh when a concept finally makes its way thru my thick skull the good brain chemical is DELICIOUS

Currently working on: pls look forward to my debut game currently as of 3am while crying the player has walk animations but when she stops she either keeps walking or switches to a completely different sprite that i put in as a placeholder. she can pick up and put down the game object but there is actually no code for the game object it's aesthetic only at this time. well also the debug logger tells you she interacted with things so it's sort of a text based adventure situation. oh but you can pat her little head that's the core game mechanic. doesn't that sound fun :)
