After the button was pressed, the remaining students could hear a rumbling noise. The execution area had completely crumbled around them, and the found themselves.. on a hill. There was nothing there.
One student pointed a finger, and something in them clicked yet again. They could see everything: the old dorms, the coffee shop, the remains of the mall, and the hospital. The fence that one held them inside such a bizarre world had also been taken down, though they weren't able to see that far after it.
Cery Madrigal has been found guilty of the murder of Cery Madrigal and Ayumichi Lakuno, as well as the mastermind!
COMMENCING EXECUTION.
Cery is led down the execution hallway by Monobear, the remaining students being led to a different hallway. They look out to see a large desolate wasteland, cracked brown dirt stretching as far as they can see, which isn't much since there's a large dust storm in the distance, blocking everything from view. They see Cery below, standing on what looks like a black metal disk, and they note that his feet are chained to the disk. The storm dies down as he grins and the disk spins to face the students. Cery gives a maniac bow, and tips his crown, before the disk spins again. The storm dies down to show several large robots, also on disks, and posed. They all are almost exact replicas of all the deceased students.
They start to rolls slowly towards Cery, breaking free of their restraints and leveling rocket launchers and large guns towards the mastermind.
Theres a moment of silence, as Monobear waddles out to stand between the mech forces and Cery. Suddenly, the bear explodes in a blast of confetti, and the robots attack. Some of the smaller robots dash around behind him, leveling rocket cannons at him and firing, while the larger ones fire shell after shell of artillery at the cackling mastermind. Soon, another cloud of dust shields him and the robots from the students view, only the earsplitting sounds of gunfire and explosions can be heard. Until they see a gleam coming out of the cloud, and slams into the plate glass barrier. It's Cery's crown, still in pristine condition, the monochromatic jewels glittering in the light. The crown has embedded itself half in the glass, half out.
The dust cloud falls again to show a large hole dug out in the ground by the robots attack, and an empty metal base where Cery used to stand. The robots look to the sky and promptly explode as well, shaking the foundation of the castle.
Suddenly, a small black shape falls from the sky, landing gingerly on Cery's old base, spinning around. A door slides open to the area, and stairs extend from the wall. Walking over to the base, it's revealed to be a large black twenty sided die with purple numbering. It's landed on 1, a critical fail.
The moment it's touched, the small triangle pops open, revealing a red button embossed with Cery's signature red die.
The throne is made of dice, all different kinds of dice. As for the boy himself... from the top down, His hair is the same style, but a bone white, no shine. His eyes have lost their normal sheen, becoming a cold green color. His left eye has a red aura around it. He has an evil smirk. He has no jacket, of course. His shirt has a picture of a monobear face on it, instead of a die. The jeans are black, and one shoe is red, and the other is white. One of his is resting on the other, foot on knee. His head is resting on his right arm, his elbow on the armrest of the throne. his left arm is resting on the opposite armrest.
"Took you all long enough!"
The situation finally clicked with the students. The Irish-named passcode, the castle, his disappearance after the trial of Benjirou Okamoto, and even his own death. Everything had led up to this moment, and it was right under their noses the entire time.
While the students had been investigating, they heard a ping sound over the intercom, and to their dismay they once again heard Monobear's welcoming voice.
"You all have had enough time to investigate! Let's get this show on the road!"
The students followed Monobear, and piled into the elevator, making their way down to the control room that majority of them were familiar with by this time. Monobear lead them through the door, which ended them up into the trial room, and everyone took their natural spots.
"Not only do you have to solve the murder, but you have to figure out who's controlling me as well! Fun, right?"
While the students were investigating the scene, most had drifted away from the bodies, or even avoided them at all. The numbers were so small, and one or two worried about their success rate with so few people. These worries were literally blasted away though when the entire estate started shaking under their feet.
Remaining students went around trying to find anything of interest, and eventually came across the elevator, and became.. quite confused.
By this point in time, Cery Madrigal had recovered from the explosion in the visiting room, and things had been somewhat normal. About as normal as things could be before the students remembered they were still stuck in a mutual killing. Besides that small little detail, things seemed to be working out. Some had doubts that another murder would even take place, considering how few students were left.
Of course, things like that can't happen in a despair setting.
Hamish and Kalliope had been in separate parts of the second floor when they heard it. A scream, a girl's scream. They had met up in the hallway by the study before opening the doors to the stairwells/elevator, only to just catch the doors closing.
They ran to alert the other students, and once a few more students had been gathered, they all met on the first floor, Hamish frantically spamming the button to the elevator. They could hear it shift, and after some humming, it finally arrived to the first floor and opened.
When the elevator opened, some students covered their mouths, while others stared blankly at the two dead students. There was no body announcement, no pinging, no nothing. It was simple silence. Their ID's never updated with a file either, so it was up to them for the most part.
Blood had been splattered throughout the elevator, reminding the students about their situation yet again.. There wasn't even a motive. So what.. caused it?
Two students were never going to open their eyes again.
Most students were on their toes. A drama-filled trial didn't do them so well, not to mention that it looked like you really couldn't trust anyone. Nevertheless they ventured out of their rooms, and that was all it took to hear the boom and feel the castle vibrate. Some exchanging worried glances, they all headed for the source: the east visiting room. Upon entering, they found the room to be.. a mess. The piano had been blown to nothing but ash and random parts, the chess table had been knocked over and the chairs further, books laying everywhere. One of the most noticeable things though had been a student, who had been knocked unconscious presumably due to the blow. There were cuts and burn marks all over his body that had been on it's back as well. It was none other than Cery Madrigal.
The culprit had been obvious a bit early, though it took much longer to actually role with the idea. Nevertheless, the culprit was revealed to be Makoto Yanagi, or rather her other personality. After some stabbing and stripping (again), the trial finally came to a close.
She opened her eyes, she was tied by her arms to a cross, and her feet were on a shaky platform. She didn't want to move too much encase what she was standing on gave way. She tried to see what was going on around her. She was dressed as Orihime that much was clear. The wig heavy on her head as she cast her eyesight up, she could see some rope attached to the ceiling. It came down around her neck. Am I going to be hung? She asked herself. Turning her head to the left something sharp pricked her neck. That's when she realised. She was wearing a collar lined with spikes. Panicking now she followed the rope with her eyes, it went from the collar to a large black feathery mass behind her Unable to make out what it was, she looked forward. Her vision was going blurry. She was shaking so much; the trickle of blood from where her neck got caught on the spike was warm as it trickled out of the small wound. Ahead of her she saw him, Mono bear. He was dressed like a cherub, and he was holding a bow with a quiver of arrows on his back. Am I to be shot? She thought. The bear laughed, as he aimed the bow at something below her. Unloosing an arrow at ‘something’.
Judging from the fact he reached for another arrow she assumed he has missed, it suddenly and in. The plat form he was aiming for what was keeping her up and keeping her weight off her neck. He unloosed another arrow and then another and another. With each arrow the platform seemed less and less stable. He wasn't missing each time; he was just pushing something more and more out of place each time. The 'something' he was hitting was a tall pile of stacked wooden blocks that had the word 'Heaven's Justice' written on them. While reaching for his last arrow Makoto began to speak as Orihime.
"We shall meet again my dearest Makoto, you have done the work of the Heaven's and shall be rewarded" Monobear fired the last arrow just as the last words parted from Makoto's lips
"I love you, Makoto". With the last hit, the platform gave way causing the collar to cut deep into her neck blood flowing all over her dress ruining it forever. The weight of her body on the rope caused the big black feather mass at her back to rise and unfold into two extremely large angelic wings. Much like the ones that were on her costume. Her body hung there. She had truly now become a fallen angel.
Upon returning with Takano, Travis, and Hamish at his side, the door was pushed open once again, and the body announcement had gone off. It had been that distorted voice again. They stepped inside the room, waiting for others to pile in, until they noticed Travis going pale as he pointed towards the bed.
There was a strange lump and there was blood there as well, but covers had been pulled up to hide whatever had been under it. A bit hesitant, Hamish pulled back the sheets, and once again a body announcement went off, a bit late.
VICTIM: Natsume Fukui
PLACE OF DEATH: Room 18
DURATION SINCE DEATH: 3 hours
STATE OF BODY: Her head is smashed in, and she’s still laying in her bed.
SCENE OF CRIME: There is blood everywhere, as well as a strange black substance covering some of the scene.
Cery had woken up at the brink of dawn, but wasn’t ready for the day at all as he already had a horrible feeling something happened overnight. The motive was.. a bit strange, and even unnerved him quite a bit, but nonetheless he motivated himself to get up and check things out.
He had been wandering through the bedroom hallways when he realized a certain door had been unlocked and opened a small amount. Not even paying attention to who’s room it was, he ran in, taken aback by the sight.
MONOFILE # 6:
VICTIM: Takehiko Kimura
PLACE OF DEATH: Room 18
DURATION SINCE DEATH: 3 hours
STATE OF BODY:He’s laying down on the ground, and his eyes have been shut. His face is dirtied as well.
SCENE OF THE CRIME: There is blood everywhere, as well as a strange black substance covering some of the scene.
The fire incident had been put in the past, although it was literally about two days ago, but everyone seemed to be fine with each other. Besides the strange voice that has seemed to take over for Monobear, who hasn't been spotted for some time.
Though sadly, even this far into the game, nobody can truly be happy, right?
There is a pinging noise, before the intercom switches on, the distorted voice filling the ears of the students yet again.
"Hello there! It seems you all are getting extremely comfortable, right? Well, I can't let that happen! So I've prepared a little.. surprise for some of you."
After the intercom switches off, various students can find a tape literally tapped onto their doors. It has an.. audio file of a friend or loved one speaking to them, congratulating them on their achievements, only before a gunshot goes off and the tape abruptly ends.
It had been a normal day, until Kelila Talika, the SHSL Observer, decided to make fire trails throughout the estate, setting fire to almost everything out of frustration. Makoto Yanagi, the SHSL Chuunibyou, had directed traffic and was able to stop the fires.
Though, some students had noticed that Monobear was nowhere to be found. He had malfunctioned and exploded upon learning about the fire, but that was the last time anyone saw him, and nobody was able to summon him either.
Of course, a ping over the intercom got their attention.
"Sorry about all of the trouble. Monobear will be out of commission for quite some time, thanks to what you all decided to stir up this time. Good job, really. This accomplished absolutely nothing besides unfortunate things for you all!"
The voice was a bit distorted, so nobody could identify who the voice belonged to, and they didn't have any more chances as the speaker finally clicked off.
Around the second night of being held in the castle premises, the students awoke to a bell which acted as their wake-up call. Takehiko was one of the last people up, and although he.. didn't care that much, he would have expected everyone to be out of the hallway area and down in the kitchen.
That proved to be wrong, though, when he found that all the remaining students were gathered in the hallways, staring at the doors. What had gotten into them? He repeated that question in his head until his eyes glanced over to a few certain doors, seeing for himself.
Blood had been smeared on a few certain doors. Kelila, Takano, Hamish, and Ayu's door had a swipe of blood on each of them. They.. didn't take to it very well. A couple were anxious, the rest angered. What could this possibly mean? Was someone threatening them, or were they just brewing trouble within their stone estate?
Not much had happened after the previous trial. Cery Madrigal, the tabletop gamer who had been "executed" in Natsume's assumed place had been found by Kelila Talika, the observer, although nobody is quite sure about what happened after that. Letting the so-called murderer as well as mole run around free was quite the issue for the students, but there were more important things to worry about. For example, the fact that the speaker turned on after days.
"You all look bored out of your minds!! Where is the despair? The killing? Maybe it's the location.. Give me jussssst a second!!!"
No matter where the student was at the time, a strange gas filled the air, taking over their senses. What in hell was this? Slowly but surely, their senses came to a halt as they blacked out, but for how long is unknown..
Upon waking up in the middle off the woods, they are met with Monobear, who urges them to follow. Looking around, some a bit more hesitant and resisting than others, they all slowly made their way up a stone path, only for their eyes to widen in.. amazement?
The new location is nothing less than an extravagant castle. Out front after climbing a stone path, there is a large Monobear fountain similar to the one found in the second location, as well as some benches around it. Upon entering, the students are met with stone walls and floors hidden by paintings and velvet purple rugs, and are even asked to leave their shoes at the entrance as to not dirty anything. The windows aren’t covered, so you can look outside and see the woods surrounding the castle.
The castle is fenced in by a large, electric fence to prevent them from breaking out. This allows the students to wander around it. In the front is, as mentioned, the large Monobear fountain as well as benches, and around the sides are more benches with some gardens. Out back is a lovely gazebo, which is actually quite large and adorned in flowers and other elegant decorations. Sadly, a Monobear statue nearby it takes away what nice atmosphere it was working towards.
There is a pinging noise, and the students pull out their electronic cards to find an updated map as well as a vague description of the rooms.
It was morning before anyone noticed something was quite off. Not everyone seemed to be there. Of course, not everyone gathered in the same spot, but nobody had seen a certain student was not around. Volunteering to go check the situation out, Takano stepped up and went around from location to location.
It was just a precaution, but it looks like that didn't even work out as she stepped into this certain student's room back at the old dorms.
She ran back to get the other students, and some of them gathered together to investigate, when they heard the oh so familiar voice boom over the intercom.
"Attention! Attention! A body has been discovered! Finally getting cold again? Well, you know what to do! The death file is now in your ID’s, and be prepared for a school trial!”

PLACE OF DEATH: Old Dorm Building
DURATION SINCE DEATH: 7 hours
STATE OF BODY: Flung over his bed, looking a bit peaceful. Maybe he went out in a nice way.
SCENE OF THE CRIME: Nothing in the room seems to be out of order. His glasses lay on the ground, crushed. There's a slip of paper laying by him on the bed as well.
