Xigbar slides into Xemnas's lap like he belongs there, wrapping his arms around his Superior's shoulders and burying his face against his neck contently, pressing a soft trio of kisses there. "You know I'm yours, right?" He speaks the words into Xemnas's neck, following them up with another kiss. "I'm all yours, and no one can change that."

       “My my, aren’t you affectionate tonight?” Xemnas mused as he ran his fingers through Xigbar’s hair, massaging his scalp. “Yes I know you are all mine.”

He’s silent for a moment, pondering how he should respond to that. He wants to point out that its no less petty and ridiculous than it is when Xigbar gets jealous over Saix, but doesn’t like what that implies about his relationship with Xaldin. Xaldin was not a toy to him. He wasn’t sure what Xaldin was to him, but it wasn’t a toy.

So he sighs, and shrugs “I didn’t figure you liked going out on dates. You’re kind of a homebody, but I can take you out on one if you want. We can make a day of it.”

      {☾} – “Really?” Xemnas mused, impressed that Xigbar would actually suggest such a thing. “That.. actually does sound nice.”

“Its just ice skating, its not like I’m giving him the ‘wine and dine’ treatment.” Xigbar doesn’t want to point out that he thought Xaldin was plenty suited for him, he knew damned well it wouldn’t get him anywhere. “Is this really about who it is? Or more about the fact that its not you?”

      “And if it is?”

Sure getting the nerve up to ask for that date hadn’t exactly been a simple thing, but Xemnas didn’t need to be acting like this. “Don’t you think you’re makin this out to be somethin a bit bigger than it is? You know I’m still yours.”

       “A date implies something much more than just friendship. Are you attempting to remember what it was like to be romantically involved with someone like him? If you want to play house, chose someone better suited for you.”

Sitting at the foot of Xemnas's bed, is a wrapped box, sporting a comically large bow, a tag telling Xemnas the gift was from Xigbar only just barely visible uunder the mound of ribbon. Inside, and under crumpled wrapping paper was a silver teaset, with a set of three cups and saucers. The teapot even had the number I engraved in a very fancy lettering on the side. Sitting around it was three different tins with a different custom blend of loose leaf tea in each one.

       “My my, what a thoughtful gift. I should thank him next time I see him.” Xemnas says after he unwrapped the present. The tea-set was absolutely beautiful and he was actually rather excited to try the different tea blends.
