The Chronological Superman 1953: Crooks establish a self-esteem-boosting wraparound movie theater where criminals can pay to experience a simulation of defeating the Man of Steel (Action Comics vol.1 No.178)
Clark Kent: You’re my best friend. My love for you is almost unnatural.
Bruce Wayne: Clark, everything about our relationship is unnatural.
the way Clark looks at the end of man of steel where he’s talking about his new life with his mom is the way Superman should always look in every adaptation of Superman. Drenched in warm sunlight with his long, curly hair drooped over his forehead while looking like a huge nerd. It’s perfect.
clark’s face when he says “my world doesn’t exist anymore” breaks my heart, and I honestly think being stabbed multiple times would probably hurt less than thatÂ

“Don’t kill your partner on your first day.”
I want hope, damn it… is that too much?Â
