This reminds me of every complicated friendship where one or both of you actually likes the other but you were somehow expected to give relationship advice and breakup help anyway, and each time the jilted friend helps because they know the date/random person will just be a passing thing and then it will just be the two of you again talking about your failed relationships together.

I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT THIS

Because with the way the last scene with Nora ended, I was honestly expecting her to look back at Cas before she closed the door, to hint at something more between them and that she might ask him out before we see him next.

But she didn’t do that. She just went back inside.

Instead, we get that forlorn look back from Dean. The camera even focuses in on it. 

and i just. can’t. with this episode.
