Announcement/Vent about the TADC situation

After episode 9 releases in either theaters or online, depending on whether I choose to spoil myself earlier or not, I’m leaving the TADC fandom.

And no, I’m not quitting TADC as a whole. I’m still keeping my TADC OCS, including the my own versions of canon characters in my stories, buy a little bit of the new merch to add to my collection when they come out, and even watch a bit of official or fan TADC content…but I’m quitting the fandom.

This was not a decision I made lightly. It’s just that as time went on, the fandom became more and more toxic. Some fans became entitled to the show and started demanding more from the creator. My love for the show stayed, but I grew more aware of the things happening behind the scenes.

A lot of controversy stirred up, including some from the people associated with the show. One that hurt the most was a fan creator who had done horrible things behind the scenes, including mocking someone he should’ve helped. I was extremely disappointed in him and stopped supporting him long ago.

The final straw was the Last Act being leaked, along with finding out a friend was heavily affected by one controversy surrounding the VAs. It made me reevaluate what I had thought I knew about the VAs and thus decided to fully cut ties with the fandom once the finale releases. 

I hope that none of you are upset by my decision, and if you are, please know it was for a reason that was personal to me and those close to me.

I hope that maybe one day, TADC will be remembered for being a great show, rather than what it was behind the scenes.

So people have been making abstracted versions of the TADC Cast, and I thought I’d try with Jax since people are theorizing he might finally abstract in Ep 9. At first I was thinking about doing the whole abstracted but outline of the character thing with a bit of tweaks, but then I thought: How about something different.

Kitty Rocket

Bio: The newest addition to the Funtech company! This talking computer cat will teach your kids all about the world outside, without even touching the ground!! With a bubbly and energetic personality, there’s nothing she CAN’T do!

Note: By the end of the month, Kitty will be the new mascot of Funtech. The CEO’s reasoning was due to kids being more interested in characters close to their age range. We plan on making this official by the Tabby and Mouse Liveshow where Mouse is separated from Tabby and goes on a wacky adventure, ending with Tabby passing the torch.

TEENAGER FOUND SQUASHED INSIDE A WIRE

Tragedy struck the suburbs as a teenager was found dead, squashed inside a wire. Funtech Officials explained that the teenager didn’t follow the rules of their new “Luna and Apollo” robots, stating that they “didn’t separate them before bedtime”. Funtech Co has compensated for the victim’s family by giving them a small amount of money from their sales and have taken the Luna and Apollo units involved in the tragedy to their facility, where they are potentially out of commission or scrapped.

Your very own kitchen assistant, brought to you by Funtech! Equipped with a usable microwave and a portable table, Snack O Suzy will help you prepare all the meals and snacks for certain family events! She can even teach the kids the importantance of preparing your food! 

Snack O Suzy is built with many materials that can withstand high temperatures, but it’s highly recommended that you don’t get her near any fires whatsoever. It’s also recommended that you don’t offer her any sort of food, as doing so would jam her inner workings.

The mascot of Funtech. She’s extremely playful and doesn’t know how bad the CEO is, extremely loyal to him as she sees him as a father figure. She and Buddy have a sort of sibling relationship, with her being the big sis. Alas, her negligence will be her downfall.
