When a man and a woman decide to get married. Both of them realize to keep their couples life as long as possible. The divorce happens after a husband and wife decide they can not live together anymore. They agree to sign legal papers that make them each single again. The basic causes for rising divorce rate are in various factors: changes in women’s roles, infidelity, and stressful from work.
The first cause for the rising divorce rate is the changes in women’s roles. In the past, women spent most of time at home doing housework, taking care of their children and husband. Meanwhile, men were the head of family and work for their family. Therefore, women had to depend financially on men. Now women have opportunities to acquire an education, instead of being a housewife, they start working and get financially by themselves cause them to catch high self-confidence. Before, it was difficult for women to end their unhappy marriages, however after women change their roles in society, thus they became individuals. They brave to decide divorce.
Another cause of rising divorce rate is raising infidelity. Many couples come to marriage easily without understanding well about their partners. They did not spend more time to their association. The average length of time cause of the relationship of the couple that will be change to be unfaithfulness. Infidelity is the biggest cause of divorce. It can affect trust, friendship, and sex in a marriage, therefore infidelity leads to separate couples and divorce.
Finally, stressful from work partly cause divorce. The high technology affects to some jobs are doing by machines more than human. This brings people who are low proficiency being unemployment. People must spend more time to do work but use less time with their families. They may fell stressful and cause of broken relationship with their spouse.
However, the basic causes for rising divorce rate can be effect to the children and the people who end their marriage.
When think about divorce, it is not easy for a husband or a wife to decide to end a marriage. If they children, they may spend a long time trying to solve problems before decide to divorce. But sometimes they can not solve the problems and decide that divorce is the best way. Their children do not want their parents to divorce, they feel disappointed and believe in that when their parents divorce, it means their moms and dads will want to leave them, too. They can not live without both of parents. Divorce is always stressful for children. It risks with their mental and behavioral problems. They may become depressed, anxious, or angry person.
The husband and wife decide to separate their couples. They do not try to understand their spouse; they believe in themselves and do not care their life without spouse. Some couples after divorce they find themselves hard to live. They have many problems such as finance, lonesome, and children’s problems.
In conclusion, although the reasons of divorce may effect in various factors, rising divorce rate affects the children who their parents have separated, the people who have divorced, and also has affect on single people. Therefore, people who want to end their marriage have to think what happen next, and single people also have to think before they get married.
