For all ENS member especially Egyptians member let me see your marbles…
Okay Hassan I am going to mention Muslim brotherhood crimes and treason and their terrorism for all Egyptians. I will mention that number of police and armed forces officers that were shot died by their terrorists. At all Hosam I’ve been thinking much before writing. Sorry If I harm you by my words, I decided to retreats because that community isn’t to speak for issues such this. I apologize at all.
You are certainly free to write about the crimes and terrorism of the Muslim Brotherhood, though, your topic of choice was Sisi. I condemn all forms of terrorism, whether practiced by turban headed men or men in uniform.
P.S., I believe English is best practiced by discussing real-life topics.
Why, Abd El Fatah EL SISI

Thanks for all,
Please dedicate atleast a section for the massacres he committed/participated in before and after 30th of June (e.g., Maspero) and maybe another section for the virginity tests he publicly defended.
Nakba Day
Nakba Day
Today all arabs specially Palestinians commemorated the 66th anniversary of the Nakba Day which mean in english “the day of Catastrophe” it is an annual day of commemoration of the displacement that preceded and followed the Israeli Declaration of Independence in 1948.

66 years of dispossession 66 years of resistance Justice for Palestine They will return !!

Here are some relevant quotes of Israeli leaders,
"We must expel Arabs and take their place" — Ben Gurion First Prime Minister of Israel
“Everybody has to move; run and grab as many hilltops as they can to enlarge the settlements, because everything we take now will stay ours. Everything we don't grab will go to them.”
— Ariel Sharon Israel’s 11th Prime Minister till 2006
"We enthusiastically chose to become a colonial society, ignoring international treaties, expropriating lands, transferring settlers from Israel to the occupied territories, engaging in theft and finding justification for all these activities. Passionately desiring to keep the occupied territories, we developed two judicial systems: one - progressive, liberal - in Israel; and the other - cruel, injurious - in the occupied territories. In effect, we established an apartheid regime in the occupied territories immediately following their capture. That oppressive regime exists to this day" — Michael Ben-Yair Israel's attorney-general (1993-1996)
"It's not a matter of maintaining the status quo. We have to create a dynamic state, oriented towards expansion." — David Ben Gurion First Prime Minister of Israel
"Only through developing the Golan, expanding the Jewish population, expanding the settlements and bringing in new residents …will we be able to turn the settlement of the Golan to a reality that cannot be reversed." — Ariel Sharon Israel’s 11th Prime Minister till 2006, on a visit to the settlements in the Golan Heights. August, 2001
"Do not blame Caesar, blame the people of Rome who have so enthusiastically acclaimed and adored him and rejoiced in their loss of freedom and danced in his path and given him triumphal processions. Blame the people who hail him when he speaks in the Forum of the new wonderful good society which shall now be Rome’s, interpreted to mean more money, more ease, more security, and more living fatly at the expense of the industrious." .
Need a Book Suggestion
I would like to read a book about crime, mysterious, thriller, Drama,or adventure.
If you have any book suggestions please re-blog and post it.
As if we Egyptians don't get enough of that from our beloved country : )
*SCAF = Supreme Council of Armed Forces
Hi everyone , this is my opinion about the role of the international community in helping to resolve Ukraine,Syria and Egypt conflicts.
and don’t forget , through understanding our past mistakes will we be able to take advantage of future opportunities. when enough of us become aware of how we are being exploited by others that will be first step toward finding a solution and the first step of our salvation from that conflicts.
and as i mention in the recording I recommend u to read ”confessions of an economic hit man” of John Perkins.
You got it right about Egyptian media, it's owned and controlled by a handful of people, mostly businessmen who were in bed with Mubarak's regime (which is also Sisi's regime). Those who were not loyal to the regime were extorted and threatened into total submission. Ironically, the Egyptian media is one of the few things in Egypt that demonstrate some sort of uniformity. You switch from a channel to another and you see the puppet anchors using the same terms, same conspiracy theories all in the same time. Who's the puppet master, you ask? It's is the department of morale affair (military). The crisis management center (military) is also very active, both are working at the commands of our new butcher-in-chief, soon to be the deposed, the assassinated, the ousted, the exiled, ..etc president.
Thanks for the reminder about that book by the way, I downloaded it like 5 years ago after reading some great reviews but was too occupied with college to read it.

A spoken english question
Do we say time to bed or time for bed in spoken english? I thought both of them work, but my friend insisted that I was wrong.
I think we say “Go to bed” and “Time for bed”,
i don’t think you can say “Time to bed”, the correct form would be “Time to go to bed”
Thanx for letting me know, but I’ve found some people said “time to bed” in movies.
TIP: When in double, Google the phrases[1] and pick the one with highest result count (mostly likely to be correct [2]).The type of the result (blog, tweet, newspaper, government website, ..etc) matters. For even a faster way, try the "Books" section (less slang & errors) For example,
"Time for bed" Web: 735,000 | Books: 74,600 "Time to bed" Web: 142,000 | Books: 5,420
By taking a closer looker at the results, you will notice that "time to bed" is used as a short version for either "time went to bed" (as opposed to "time out of bed", mostly used in scientific books, studies, statistics, applications ..etc) or "time to go to bed" (where "time for bed" should have been used instead).
[1] Enclose them in double quotes.
[2] There could be more than one correct version with the same or different meanings. Also, in rare cases, the slang or incorrect versions can outnumber the correct ones.

Nice article,
Egypt and Ukraine show West’s hypocrisy
The events in Egypt and Ukraine reveal the hypocrisy of Europe and the US, argued Oraib Al Rantawi in the Jordanian newspaper Addustour.
The Ukrainian opposition has failed to gather a single “million- strong demonstration” against…
the comparison between Ukraine and Egypt (30 july) is so silly
ukrainian revolution was against Yanukovych when he refused to signing of the association agreement between Ukraine and the European Union and he choosing the close ties with Russia instead.
so it was against corruption, oligarch-dominated politics and business and dodgy elections which was the same reasons of egyptian revolution on 25 jun 2011.
in my opinion what happend in Egypt on 30 july 2013 was a coup against elected president who mishandled the government yes but at least he didn’t do as al sisi did in raba’a !!
if there is any hypocrisy it will be behind the West’s and gulf’s reactions to bloodshed in syria and raba’a, how quickly outrage to yanukovych in Ukraine, and how easily they reacted to bashar and al sisi in syria and egypt !!
The comparison is not between the reasons behind the events in Egypt and Ukraine nor what followed them, but rather between the west’s attitudes towards them. Whether you (or me) believe that what happened in either country is a coup or a revolution is irrelevant to the subject of the article, but I’m more than happy to discuss it with you.
First off, we can’t use the same term to refer to different things, otherwise, our discussion would be meaningless. So let’s take a look at the definition of the term “coup d’état”:
a sudden attempt by a small group of people to take over the government usually through violence.
If we are going to label one as a coup d’état and the other as a revolution, who do you believe is a better fit for the definition of coup d’état?
Let’s break down the definition,
1) Small group
Egypt
-Protests size: Millions (described as biggest in Egypt’s history)
- Millions of peopled also signed Morsi’s impeachment form. Except for MB and its few allies, all political parties and movements (including those who called for 25th of June) called for Morsi’s ouster/impeachment and agreed on the new roadmap. In matter of fact, it was 6th April (one of the main groups that first called for 25th of June) that also first suggested the current roadmap days before 30th of June in a public conference, not the military.
Ukraine
Protests size: Thousands
It was a small group that captured the palace, Yanukovych’s former residence and controlled main intersections.
2) Sudden
Egypt
There was absolutely nothing sudden about Morsi’s ouster. Calls for impeachment (by Tamarrod) preceded his ouster by months. A road map was announced and agreed upon before 30th of June. A plea was issued by the military 2 weeks before 30th June for political powers to sort out the differences and save Egypt from descending into chaos. Another 48-hours deadline followed after the huge turn out. Calls for early elections (by the EU, military, opposition and the people) have been rejected repeatedly, down to the very last moment (they were accepted later after he was ousted but it was too late). Morsi’s ouster was inevitable, anyone who didn’t see it coming was simply in denial.
Ukraine
A deal was reached with the opposition, everyone was happy. NO ONE saw this coming. This is the very definition of sudden. You wake up, turn on the TV, and a government is gone.
3) Violent
Egypt: No violence involved.
Ukraine: Violence during the protests (regardless of the causes) from the protesters side and while seizing power.
We can feel happy or sad about these events (or what followed them) all we want, we just can’t use the wrong words to describe them.
ok great
i just mentioned the reasons to remind you how’s the differences between them !!
however , let me start with last point,
“the No violence involved”
I can’t believe how do you ignore the bloodshed in raba’a !!
yes the military didn’t fight the people who shifted their ideologies by the media or by “other countries” in the way which the other countries want !!
the military has been fighting the people who faced the coup.
the people who see their revolution is gone with the wind !!
and I’m sure you know there is a lot of people who signed Morsi’s impeachment form are regret when they see all thing just back like the Egypt before 25 Jun !!
sudden
yea I agree with you , I expected that will happen because we know the conflict between the ruling regimes of the gulf countries and the Muslim brotherhood and how the brotherhood’s ascent to the power in countries of the Arab spring is fueling fears of gulf governments .
I don’t know why do you call it a revolution and all the people who was against the revolution in 25 Jun are supporting the coup now and the government who you were against them in 25 jun and you want to overthrow them , they released from prison.
so it is anti-revolution !!
anyway , I’m saudi and I know it’s not my business who’s the president of Egypt , but I was so happy when I saw the Egyptian got their freedom of expression , assembly and elect their president , and all these freedoms have been crushed by the coup.
I hope this analogy helps get my point across: If you invite someone into your house and then he assaults and robs you, should he be charged with assault and theft or assault, theft and burglary?
Actions committed after 25th of Jan/30th of June speaks only for those who committed them. MANY massacres were carried out after 25th of Jan and before 30th of June by the SCAF (Supreme Council of Armed Forces) and MB; does this turn 25th of Jan. into a military coup? An islamists revolution? A foreign plot? The present simply doesn't change the past.
Both the SCAF and MB are anti-revolution, they joined forces after 25th of Jan then parted ways before 30th of June. This is not evil vs good, this is evil vs arguably more evil. The common loser during the past 3 years is the Egyptian people.
Also, there was nothing democratic about Morsi's 1-year rule, except for the elections, which ironically, he had no hands in. MB crimes were not only against democracy but also against humanity. The only difference between MB and SCAF is the scale of their crimes.
