I just got back from my fifth watch of Wicked: For Good and this time I payed more attention to the subtleties in my language, czech.

and oh my god. Gelphie is canon in Czceh????

Cuz the “I love you” is translated as “miluju tě” which is exclusively used in a romantic meaning. Like yk in english you can say I love you to your family members or something but in czech you don’t ever say this to family or friends…

when you say this to another person it’s meant romantically. Like a confession.
