Election Night Thoughts
As I sat and watched the numbers coming in on election night I couldn't help but think about all the other administrations that have promised to do so much for the African American communities nationwide. I know that the President can't make everything happen on their own, but in the past it seems as if we've been an afterthought after candidates win their elections. Our country is more divided than at any other time during my 38 years on this Earth, and I feel that real strides must be made or things will get worse for us as a people in America at a rapid rate. I didn't think about things like this as much before, but being that I have teenagers (one of which will be turning 18 within the next 6 months) I’m viewing and analyzing things on a whole different level. Hopefully things can begin to change soon in this country, because there’s absolutely no way that we should still be having the issues that we’re currently having 40-50 years after the civil rights movement.
And there you have it. The New President and Vice President elect. I for one really Pray that a positive change can be made starting with this administration!!!
Joe Biden on the campaign trail. My People need to have an agenda in place to combat the issues in the poor urban communities nationwide.
Pouting like a Big Baby. Still can’t believe this dude was elected POTUS in 2016!!!

As we near the Presidential election of 2020 racism and social justice are 2 of the biggest issues that I see daily. Personally speaking it looks as if America is divided as much as ever. This has a tumultuous year as we’ve had so many issues of mishandled policing, social unrest, and the global pandemic that we’re currently dealing with. The President that’s currently sitting in the White House seems to turn a blind eye whenever asked tough questions concerning any of these issues. Joe Biden who is running for election from the Democratic Party seems to be a bit out of touch with the people on his end. I feel we as a people are at a stand still as the election nears on Tuesday. On one side we have a sitting president that I feel fans the flames of hate and racism in almost a taunting manner, and his opposition is out of touch with My People. I for one will be voting for Biden and Kamal Harris even with the perceived shortcomings, because we as a people can’t tolerate anymore separation and ignorance. I pray for an outcome that will begin to help our Nation get past the current state of hate that we seem to be stuck in.
Hello I’m Justin Epps and I go by the name of Poetic Supreme or P. Supreme professionally. I’m a private business owner as well as a student at Full Sail University. This is the first entry in my second installment of blogs and I’ll be focusing on entrepreneurship and all things art (visual, music, fashion design, and more). I’m co-owner of Premium Blanco llc. and we’re a company that produces and sells both music and fashion. We’re looking forward to getting into other fields eventually in the future, but as of right now we’re sticking to the two things we know best. Within the last 5-7 years I’ve learned that the entrepreneurial spirit is something that runs in my DNA. I found out through family conversations and Facebook posts that my paternal Grandfather who passed away 40 years ago was a entrepreneur. I also found out that one of my paternal Grandmother’s brothers who passed away 35 plus years ago was a club owner and entrepreneur in the L.A. area. Learning these things has awaken a passion that I didn’t know I had. I look forward to continuing and enjoying my journey to securing generational wealth through both the Good and Bad.
Having made a Big Move forward for my business it seems that now I’m facing stagnation from prospective printers. I guess this is just part of the process and I’ll take it as such. I won’t focus on the fact that individuals have backtracked on what they said they would do, I’ll just focus on the fact that this hiccup will force my company to become self sufficient in that area in which we currently need assistance. I’ve always heard the phrase “everything happens for a reason” throughout my life starting as a young child. I guess there might be some truth to that, and these roadblocks seem to be necessary evils. These types of shortcomings are what builds one’s character. I for one will look back on this situation in 10 years or so and probably laugh at it.
Monday Morning as an Entrepreneur is like a clean slate. This week that has just begun is a clean slate and another chance to be Great. As of late there have been some very promising leads coming to both My Partner and I. These are the types of leads that can change my family’s life for generations to come if it all comes to fruition. These are the types of days that I live for, as I feel that everyday is packed with Supreme Promise. I hope that everyone that’s in similar shoes has this type of outlook, because it gets you ready for all things to come. It’s kinda like a NBA Player having a Great Shoot-Around right before a Big Game, it makes you feel as if you can’t miss a shot.

When Visual Art meets Audio Art!!!
These are some of the Entrepreneurs that I look up to and follow advice from. This is where Art and Entrepreneurship Meet!!!
The life of an entrepreneur is one of determination and discipline, but if you’re working for someone you’ll often feel underpaid and under appreciated. Long before I envisioned a life of entrepreneurship I always felt that I wasn’t being paid fairly in almost every position of employment I’d ever held. Through the years I’ve learned more than a person who holds a PhD in my estimation. The most pivotal decision that was made in my journey to becoming a “Self-Made” Man was relocating to the Atlanta area. From February 2012 to 2018 I was virtually in a entrepreneurial crash course on a daily basis just from moving about each day. I use to think that I made a mistake moving there during my lowest times but I see that it was necessary to my life’s story.
Another Sunday night that’s spent getting the last bit of homework done before that deadline at 11:59 pm. It’s so hard to stay focused in school when you have a whole life as an adult to lead. Long gone are the days of grade school when the most important decision of each day was what you were going to eat for lunch. The ability to push through is ever so important when it comes to school. I love the fact that I decided to continue my education and when I earn my degree it will mean more to me than just about everything in the world. When times get hard I just think about that day when my name is called and I walk across that stage to get my degree.
