A little sketch I did of Neo last night
Haven’t done much art lately but here ya go

My professor likes to lick art. This Gudea is in the British museum 😮

How my friends see me draw:
How I really draw:
I’m pretty sure all the art folks out there might appreciate this.
I, too, incoherently shout ‘GOH-RILL-UHHHHHHHH’ as I draw. It is my process.
Ditching plans as a sculpture student:
What I say: "sorry, I have a ton a homework" What really happens: *plays with clay, paint and power tools for 10 hours straight and has nothing to show for it in class the next day*
I'll have to et a better documentation photo soon, but here it is. 10' tall and about 16' long.
I’m starting over on this big painting thing. This is what I got done this evening. It’s about 10" tall and who knows how long…
Edit: It’s 10 feet tall, not inches.
the art process
Me: *finishes drawing*
Me: THIS IS INCREDIBLE I AM INCREDIBLE WHERE IS MY MILLION DOLLAR
one day later
Me: it’s shit

The burning paper was actually really extraordinary to watch as well... It was really beautiful. The top picture is of a solid piece of the ash, I have no idea why it looks like marbled paper!
So... I just fuckin’ burned the shit out of my mushroom drawings... They went up in a show at school last weekend and apparently were well received... When in doubt, destroy your art. People love that shit.
I’ll have documentation of the finished pieces up hopefully this week.
Rough sketch of a giant charcoal drawing I'm doing. I'm not sure I'm liking the amount of work I'm getting myself into... My dog is there for scale.
This is a bust study of one of our figure models.
I’m not super proud of this little series of sculptures I made, but they helped inspire me to make some of my current pieces that blur the line between human and non-human animals.
A study of my hand in oil clay form my freshmen year.
