Today is our weekly ‘take grandma shopping day’
& I so can not be bothered at all.
Like I love my grandma, so much. She was a second mother to me and my siblings growing up and she spoils my boys like anything.
But damn I just can not be arsed.
It was hard enough with two kids, but now I’m pregnant again it’s getting even more difficult.
We’re her only family here, which is whatever. The frustrating part is that she has the opportunity to move to be closer to the rest of our family, but she won’t. She’s had this chance for the last 3 years now and despite saying she’s going.. hasn’t actually gone.
Like if I’m busy and out and about with all 3 kids, there’s no way I can drop everything and go straight to her if she needs help. She’d have that if she moved closer to my mum and siblings. She’s just too damn stubborn 🤦🏻♀️
