Stay With Me ✚ Masrur&Morgiana
Although Morgiana had been expecting to find Masrur, now that he was standing only a few feet away from her, she found herself speechless. In that moment, the world around her, as well as her thoughts, began to move in slow motion. Masrur was here and still alive and it almost felt like this nightmare was finally coming to an end. Morgiana’s life as a slave had taught her many things like how to mentally numb all pain and how to cancel out emotions, but now, nothing frightened her more than having to face zombies. Not because of their gruesome appearance or the stench of rotting flesh, but because they were human… or at least were once. They had once had families and homes, which was something she never had. Having to kill them in order for her to stay alive meant destroying that last bit of life they once had. And that, destroyed her.
The moment she lowered her gaze to the floor, she felt herself being pulled in and pressed into an embrace. A small gasp escaped her lips. Was this…. the first time someone had demonstrated this kind of endearment? It was such a simple gesture and yet, she felt her throat tighten and had to shut her eyes to keep the tears from coming. For once in her life, she truly felt home. Hesitantly, she wrapped her arms around Masrur then buried her face into him. It was partially an attempt to return the gesture but also, she wanted to hide her expression for a bit until she composed herself. “Masrur…” She spoke once she had found her voice. “You are okay… I’m— I’m so glad.” Slowly, she lowered her arms to her side and stared up at him, fer face still slightly flushed red. Things were going to be different, she was no longer alone and she’d found her reason to no longer be afraid. From now on, even if she still had a long way to go to be as fast and strong as Masrur, she was going to try her hardest. Now… it was her turn to protect him.
Masrur had only slightly begun thinking that maybe there was a chance that he would never get to see anyone he knew ever again. Being so far from home, what were the odds? But somehow he did find someone, and he found someone that he cared about very much. Admittedly he had been worrying about a lot of people and their well-being, and having one less person to worry about was a relief. That didn't make him less paranoid, though, and it didn't help that occasionaly he had nightmares involving people like Sinbad and Ja'far as walkers. Those dreams were what made things more terrifying than they already were. Yet now, hugging someone that could have been dead but was alive and here, a new spark of hope ignited somewhere inside of his chest.
“You are okay… I’m— I’m so glad.”
"Mm," he nodded, looking down at her from his height. "..I'm glad you're okay too." Masrur was never exactly good at expressing his emotions with words, and with just using the word 'glad' he felt as if it lacked the strange amount of happiness that seeing Mor brought to him. He took note that her face was red, which probably meant that she was just as happy as he was. If he could have somehow conjured up the strength to smile genuinely and fully for her, he would have. But he couldn't, even now, so instead he simply raised his hands to Morgiana's face gently, leaning down to press his lips softly on the top of her head. And he silently hoped that that would get his message across.
It was probably sudden, him doing that, but he kept the kiss there for a long moment before pulling away. Once he did, Masrur kneeled down in front of her so that he was nearly her height, and found himself feeling slightly awkward now. Turning his gaze to the floor, he slowly spoke. "There's a highschool on the other side of town where I have been staying with some others," he started carefully, "...Will you come there with me?"

Blinking at the man’s rough appearance, she found his slight smile to be kind of cute. She thought it fit him rather well, and wouldn’t ever think of any other kind of smile to give such a ruffian-looking man. It was no wonder he was able to survive on his own to this point so easily — with a first reaction like that, the infected must have been absolutely no match for him.
“I’m.. Masrur. …It’s nice to meet you.”
“It’s nice to meet you as well! I’m Rapunzel,” she began, tucking a piece of her rather long blonde hair behind her ear. Pausing a moment, she gave a bright smile before asking him, “How long have you been living here, exactly? Just curious…”
It was strange that this girl honestly seemed somewhat happy in a setting like this, but it was better than having someone who only moped around all day. It actually made him feel less stressful, just beginning to speak with someone with a high spirit. Maybe talking to others more often would be a good idea.
“How long have you been living here, exactly? Just curious…”
Masrur made sure to remember Rapunzel's name, since this most likely wouldn't be the only time he'd speak with her. Thinking about her question, he remembered entering the empty high school quite some time ago and finding only one other man inside. A man who wasn't with the group today, but he remembered fondly. "I've been here for a long time. I was one of the first people to settle down in this school after the apocalypse." He slowly nodded, remembering how the group began to increase each day that went by. "...You're new here, then?"
I Honestly Can't Think of a Title || Rapunzel & Masrur
Slinking around the hallways of the high school, the blonde looked around curiously with her trusty chameleon companion. She hadn’t seen many people around today, and she wondered why — this was practically a home, so wouldn’t she be seeing others walking about everywhere? Wouldn’t being locked up in a room for so long get boring?
Oh, right.
Continuing on her expedition of the school, she thought some things over. She’d lived through quite a few nightmares lately, and hadn’t even had much time to take it all in. What happened had seemed to happen so very fast, and the whole idea of it kind of made her head spin. Seeing a tall male figure up ahead snapped her out of her thoughts, and her instincts told her to hide. However, before she actually did, she realized that this was a safe haven. Curiously approaching the stranger, she gave a curt wave before speaking.
“Hi! Who are you? I’m Rapunzel!”
Masrur was a man of few words, so of course he preferred having solitude. Even now, with the world turned into a living hell, keeping his distance from others seemed best. Morgiana of course was an exception to this, but sometimes the silence of the school was relaxing for him. Pure silence was hard to get these days, with the groans of the undead constantly echoing throughout the halls even despite them being clear. Things were honestly kind of eerie around here, but you get used to it. Today was just another quiet day, and the male fanalis was enjoying it by walking through the halls.
“Hi! Who are you? I’m Rapunzel!”
Not expecting to run into anybody at this point, the girl's voice and figure caught him off guard and made him grip his bat prepared to strike. Though once he realized it was just one of the newest members of the school survivor group, he let out a sigh of relief. Although he didn't want company, a few conversations once and a while never hurt, right? "I'm.. Masrur." He stated, his voice low yet oddly welcoming. "...It's nice to meet you." One corner of his lips lifted slightly, barely noticeable, which happened to be his way of smiling. Hopefully that made him seem less intimidating, but he still wanted to show a strong appearance with authority.

ZAURP Valentine's Day Event!
The zombies have heard that there were a bunch of babes here in Yamagata! That’s right, all of you. For this Valentine’s day hundreds will be coming right for this city looking for someone sweet enough to sink their teeth in.
From February 14th-16th herds will be passing through the streets of your new lovely home Yamagata, preventing any scavenging, moving, or anything that involves leaving the High school or Prison. Oh yeah, and we recommend you not make any noise.
But there is good news! The passing winter is promising some snowfall throughout the event. You may even get snowed in for a day or two, so stock up quickly on supplies and prepare for the worst. Maybe even cuddle up with the one you love to keep warm!
Good luck, survivors and have a happy Valentine’s Day!
