Headcanons:

-Butch Lesbian

-She was in a relationship with Spring, and was extremly devastated after she died (that was also part of the reason she was being such a dick to Storm and Arrow). She didn't know how to deal with her own grief so she turned it into anger (+ she was always kind of a jerk)

-She doesn't have any feelings for Bruno, nor he has any for her. They were just friends and then bonded over being in the same hate grup

-She's a mix of Whippet and some small type hunting dog. (if we're talking size: she's a medium-small dog, but she's also really lightweight)

I wanted to change the colors to make him less dirty(which was the intent of the colors originally) but then I realized that I actually don't like them lighter

I really don't like the response when I bring up Breeze's canon breeds being bad that I tend to get. Breeze being a chocolate lab and rough collie mix is something I don't like because she's described as not much bigger than Daisy. Breeze is described as small throughout the entire series. The point of her being small is that she's underestimated, and that she's a lot stronger than she appears. Although it's perfectly fine to view her as any size you'd like, she's a CANONICALLY small dog. Her being nearly the size of Storm does NOT work. It's directly mentioned that Storm is one of the biggest dogs in the wild pack, only second to Bruno. Breeze being just a few inches shy of Storm's height is very wrong and I don't like it.

YES THANK YOU. I literally just reblogged a post complaining about the Erins not knowing how dog breed sizes work a few minutes ago. In my own HC I switch out the Collie with the Sheltie that Lucky/Bella somehow got despite being canonically medium-large. (Did the Erins mix up whether Collies or Shelties were the little ones?) Doesn’t quite solve it, but makes it a little better. :/

Her given descriptors are 1) small, 2) brown, 3) short hair, 4) big ears.

Breeze should be more like a beagle mixed with something that can be brown & solid colored. Short hair is dominant to long hair, so coat length doesn’t matter. The other parent would also have to carry the brown gene to keep her coloring. Maybe beagle x cocker spaniel? Idk.

My partner's hc breed for her is a Patterdale Terrier mix! :)
