however, he wasn't really being ride to mrsredsama. he was merely clarifying that his statement didn't apply to her and other fans who aren't shallow sub-18 year olds.

Really, if you look at it, there couldn’t have been a ruder way to respond. She was offended because he generalized a large number of people. A lot of people were offended by that. And he said they were ‘ironically’ being what they claimed they weren’t. I fail to see how this is not rude.

It was ironic because they reacted in a childish way. They became and acted like what he was talking about. But in hoensty, I hate when these things happen because it's all a huge cluster of misunderstood words over reading text and not fully understanding what a person might mean with their words.

I'm not here to pifk sides, I'm just saying that people should never forget that fully understanding a post is difficult near impossible with the lesser knowledge you have of that person's personality. So, if anything, just let things go and remember that things aren't always how they come off on the internet.

I will say that I agree with both of you and Scott in different places. But that's because I guess you can say I have a respect for the fact I do not know you or him in your personality. But I respect your mind set. Mind set being how you think as an individual.
