Sometimes, the best way to end a long workday is by discovering something new.

Last night, I finally visited Singju in Mumbai for a late-night dinner, and it was a wonderful introduction to the rich and vibrant flavours of Northeastern India. From the fresh ingredients to the unique blend of herbs, spices, and traditional cooking techniques, every dish offered a completely different culinary experience.

What I enjoy most about exploring regional cuisines is how every meal tells a story—of culture, heritage, and the people behind it. India's diversity truly shines through its food, and places like Singju make it possible to experience that diversity without leaving the city.

If you're in Mumbai and looking to try something beyond the usual, I'd certainly recommend giving Northeastern cuisine a try.

An evening walk along Bandra Bandstand, with the sea breeze, cloudy skies, and waves crashing against the rocks, was the perfect way to slow down after a busy week. Sometimes, all you need is a quiet walk by the sea to appreciate the beauty and energy of the city.

Two and a half years ago, when I first joined Educational Outreach, IIT Bombay, the vision was clear—to make Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay's knowledge and expertise more accessible to learners and industry across the country.

Looking back today, it has been incredible to witness the journey. Over the last two years, we have not only expanded our programme portfolio across executive education, but have also grown as a team.

One of the highlights for me was being part of our first EO Leadership Team meeting. Seeing the evolution of the team and the formation of a dedicated leadership group is a reflection of how far Educational Outreach has come in such a short span of time.

What makes this journey truly special is the people. Every member of the EO leadership team brings a unique perspective, energy, and commitment. Together, we challenge ideas, solve problems, support one another, and share a common vision of taking Educational Outreach to greater heights.

It is a privilege to work alongside such passionate and like-minded colleagues. I am grateful to be part of this remarkable team and excited for the journey ahead as we continue to grow, innovate, and create a larger impact through education.

This weekend, I had the opportunity to visit Taste of North East India and try Manipuri cuisine for the very first time. It was a fascinating culinary experience—simple, authentic, and completely different from the flavors I am accustomed to.

Exploring a new cuisine is not just about trying new dishes; it's about appreciating the traditions, ingredients, and stories that shape a region's identity. The diversity of Indian food never ceases to amaze me, and the rich culinary heritage of Manipur was no exception.
