Rough Sketches of my SkekOc because when in Fandom, do as fans do.
SkekQwe (Qh-way) the Priestess, only 278 Trine old, with prosthetic teeth replacing her Major canines in her mouth.
(though her birthname was SkekLun, with her counterpart being named UrLim). The child or UrGoh and SkekGra, but raised in the castle by SkekZok.
(Poorly written Bio time!! I bet this would all read better as a fic than a general description. One day lol)
Born not physically but in a manifestation of connected energies between her parents. (I like to imagine Urskeks, in general, have children by connecting their two energies and fusing them together to produce a new being. )
Qwe and Lim were made in a failed early desperate attempt of SkekGra and UrGoh trying to become GraGoh. But with Qwe and Lim being born on Thra of techincally one Urskek Split into two, they couldn't sustain their own Urskek form for more than a few seconds before they split into themselves, which were more stable than their UrSkek form.
Qwe, as a Skekling, was found cradled in a hanging swaddle in a tree at one of the very few crystal desert oaisises, while her parents were busy foraging food and other supplies.
Dousan scouts stopping for a refill of their own supplies, went to investigate, only to find a baby skeksis in the swaddle. With SkekGra collecting water and UrGoh busy trying to wrangle a fussy UrLim in the brush, it was easy to take her, and bring her along with them to eventually transport her to the castle, and hopefully grant the Dousan better standing with the Crystal Lords.
(That Oasis never produced viable food or drinkable water afterward, from the pure grief of her parents rotting it away.)
When presented to the lords of the castle as a fledgling no one truly knew what to do with her, and originally she had been tasked to the scientist. However SkekZok soon took over for the scientist after SkekTek had been much too rough in his handling of her as a baby, treating her more like a beast of Thra than a Skeksis. So she had been raised under SkekZok for the next 278 trine, being shaped into being a priestess and upholding her "dad's" ceremonies.
Her prosthetic teeth come from her biting the ornamentalist when she had just recently become a teenager with a very bad temper. SkekEkt had been too rough with grooming her downy feathers in the bath one day, and in a fit of frustration Qwe hand thrown her head back and sank her teeth into Ekts hand after Ekt had pulled one too many downy feathers. In turn for injuring the ornamentalist quite badly on the hand and arm, she had her major canine teeth pulled by SkekZok himself. When she doesn't have her prosthetics in, she speaks with a lisp and has a drooling problem from the gaps.
Im sure i'll refine more of this later but thats the generaly basis of her! Tried to make her look a bit like SkekGra without outright copying him. Have I hit all the fandom oc tropes yet with this one? Maybe. Lemme know what you think :)
