tw: minor suicide and abuse mention below
honestly, BB reminds me of an evil, unwanted twin OC a gacha kid would make in 2018 in gacha studio, with his backstory being that he was the hated child and L was the favourite—and L knew of it (why do you think he was so smug when he introduced himself as 'ryuzaki' near the end of LABB?), but he was playing coy, and then you would sympathize more with BB because he kept getting abused by their parents (watari and roger in this case, i guess). then BB breaks and instead of actually being the long lost hybrid princess, he becomes the serial killer we all know and love (?).
and then somewhere in the middle, there'd be a scene like this:
and it’s a confrontation (GASP, A LES MIS REF??) then, their parents intervene and BB takes most of the blame. maybe that can lead to another possible ending: his in-universe suicide where he still sets himself on fire, instead of becoming a serial killer. (or maybe it can still go the way it did in LABB, i dunno) then the kid behind all of this gacha studio heat (pun intended) would go down the same ending whenever a character offs themselves: those surviving regret mistreating the hated child.
